Phone wise nokia 6500 is much better then nokia 6288 from 3. It got very good color/speaker phone/micro SD etc.

Plan wise 3’s plan is very good (10$/month with a good CAP).

The down site from 3 is that you can’t use their sim on any 2G phone which let me down big time.

Don’t forget that here you get free calls AND text to Virgin phones, so if you pick one up for you, and your girlfriend and/or your mum/dad/sis, you can call each other as much as you need to and you pay $20 (with $50 of included calls to other mobiles/international)

Also, for those who want to browse the internet, Virgin has a data cap addition. On top of your $20 plan, you can put: $5 for 50Mb or $10 for 300Mb

So you can check whats happening on OzBargain even if you’re out and about ;)
