  • I have a 2 year old iphone X that’s starting to slow down and battery down to 82% capacity.

Ideally Apple will release a smaller form factor phone next year which I’ve been waiting for a while.

Would this S10e be an upgrade or downgrade? I’m open to going Android again. Only reservation is my last Android was the S8 and sold it after 6 months. It slowed down quite rapidly.

It's going to really slow down once that new phone is released.

    • I think the slowing down part may have something to do with how you use it. My s8 is still running perfectly fine and I got it at launch. No issues.

I had an iPhone X, OnePlus 6T and now the s10e.

The s10e is nearly identical in size to the iPhone X and the overall experience is similar too, including the camera quality.

As for battery life, the s10e Australian variant is pretty average so you might not find it much better than the iPhone X, even with an aging battery.

If I was you, I'd see what Samsung's s11 range turn out like in Feb.

      • +2

The reason I’m considering the S10e is the size. I’m wanting to always get the smaller version. I even prefer smaller if possible but current trend doesn’t allow that.

        • +3

Well you'd be happy with the s10e. In hand it's practically identical to the iPhone X and perhaps a touch lighter

    • If you're happy with the iPhone then replace the battery.

  • Would OW price match this?

    • Maybe give your local store a call. Their website says this: "Our Price Beat Guarantee includes products you find online - as long as the item is identical and in stock. When assessing the PBG from online stores we also take into account the added cost of delivery to your location (if any). If the identical, in stock product can be purchased and delivered to your location via an online store for a total price lower than the one we are offering, we will beat that total price by 5%."

      • What is excluded from the Price Beat Guarantee?
Cashback and coupon offers (i.e. supplier cashback or reduced-price available via paper coupon or electronic codeword)
Commercial quantities and pricing (i.e. a reduced price not available to the public)
Stock liquidations (i.e. competitor clearance products or goods sold by a business placed into receivership)

There is a mention in the exclusion section no electronic codewords, does this mean they won't price match?

    This or A90?

    • More than anything here's a huge difference in physical size. I assume your preference here is the deciding factor.

  • shame its only single sim :(

  • I’m getting $793.83

    • you didn't bother adding item to cart to get additional 6% off

      • Sorry what do you mean? I am adding it to the cart. I don’t see anywhere to get the extra 6% off

        • firstly do you have ebay plus membership?
there is additional 6% off in cart price.

          • @ozdesi: Yes I do. I’m signed in. I’m not getting the extra 6% off that others get.

            • @ozeebee: did you migrate to eBay UK to buy cheaper egift cards?
If you did change your country back to eBay AU and check if you see the discount

              • @ozdesi: Thanks Ozdesi. I managed to get it in the end. For some reason, the 6% extra discount wasn’t working on the ebay mobile app.

I got it through normal browser.

Cheaper through Amazon with 12% cashback through SB.

  • Lol every deal since mid 2019 is eBay plus
