Boost Mobile $150 Prepaid SIM (12 Months, 80GB Data, Unlimited Talk & Text) - $130 Delivered @ tovmobile.com.au

540

With the current Boost frenzy going on I though I'd offer this up. Here's how it works. Go to the deal, click on the "Name your price" button, offer $100, and it will come back with the counter offer of $130. Note, if you don't register with them first the discount will not transfer to the check out, so if you want it, register first then do the above. Enjoy.

And, as if you didn't know :-
80GB and 12 MONTH EXPIRY. UNLIMITED Calls & Text to standard numbers. UNLIMITED INTERNATIONAL standard calls & text to 25 selected destinations +1200 standard mins & text to 30 selected destinations.

Or $125 instore. I purchased it last week

    • I guess the postage bumps it by $5.

    • Is this office works?

    • Is that standard price or by making an offer?

  • im new to looking for phone plans etc…what do they class as unlimited calls and text to standard numbers? mobiles? or will it cost extra to call mobile…

Mobiles and landlines, but not 19 numbers. Not that I would be calling those.

      • Cheers mate, much appreciated. just gotta work out how to keep my vodafone number. any ummm tips? lol. sorry ive been with vodafone for 15 years ha

        • +3

When you activate it will ask if you want to keep your old number. It will work fine from Voda.

          • @Wardaddy: May I know how long it will take to port number from Vodafone?

            • @bwid: Varies from 10 minutes to several hours, but usually within 30 minutes.

              • @Wardaddy: Thanks for the info. I have been waiting for my Vodafone number get transferred for about an hour.

                • @bwid: They don't do them on Sundays, it will be tomorrow before it ports.

            • @bwid: I ported from Telstra > Voda > Boost because they can't get their shit together for Telstra to Telstra porting.

This was on a Saturday 2 weeks ago and I was with Vodafone in about 5 minutes when going from Telstra.

Voda to boost took another couple minutes.

          • @Wardaddy: cant' find name your price button

            • @Yourstel: I activated mine today (Sunday) using the online customer help i just had to provide name DOB ID Address and I was up and running in less than 10 minutes and that was with porting my old number over to Boost too.Absolutley incredible service

  • Do you need to port out - port in if you’re already with boost?

    • +3

It's a starter kit, not a recharge, so yes. If you're with Boost already get the $135 recharge from Coles on Wed.

  • Do I have to activate right away or can I wait for my contract to finish first in mid-Feb?

    • Current activation expiry date for Boost is April 2021. So you can wait.

      • Sweet thanks!

      • Is that activate by the beginning of April or before the end of April?

    Did you get permission haha

      LOL, as if.

      • +4

Ozbargain is not social media. It's a way of life.

My wife says it's an obsession.

          • @Wardaddy: Your wife is most observant!

          • @Wardaddy: my wife calls me an old coupon clipping man because of Ozbargain.

            • +1

@sanfans: Maybe they are using reverse psychology. You would think they want as many sales as possible.

            • @sanfans: The first rule of selling is: You do not talk about selling

  • If only the 240GB plan was $240 again!

  • +1

Is it 80gb i.e. 6.6 gb per month for the entire year in total or 80gb per month ?

    • +3

80gb to be used within a 12 month period

  • I think by now with so many deals, the majority of Australians are with Boost…

  • Is this Optus deal better? You get 120gb for $150.

    https://offer.optus.com.au/shop/prepaid/sim-card/180-sim?key…

    • No international minutes with that one

  • How do u port over from Telstra postpaid plan?

    • +1

You might be breaking contract meaning you may pay additional cancellation fees

      • order this
      • Activate it over live chat so you don't need to recharge
      • Port from Optus to Boost
  • Can't seem to find the "Name your price" button. Tried Chrome and Firefox. Can anyone provide some assistance, please?

    • +2

They've just removed it. I think they've been ozbargained.

      • Thanks, it was driving me a little insane not being able to see something everyone else seemed able to see.

  • +1

The homepage of the website shows the $150 deal with a big, red "20$ off" plastered over the top of it. Might be false advertising since they're only selling it for face value at the moment.

  • +3

I note the $150 now has this text in the description "Please Do Not Publish Any Deals/ coupon code / Or buy price in Ourstore in Any Social Media (including Ozbargain), Unless Permitted"

    So Social Media includes Ozbargain.

I'd have to conclude that they actually do NOT want Ozbargain business.

Therefore, feel free to spend your money elsewhere.

Noted that Coles will have the $150 on sale for $135. If you can pay with discounted gift cards, then that's a better deal straight up.

    • +1

That paragraph was there prior to this deal being posted but they added after social media (including ozbargain)

    • +2

LOL.. Still free game for the $300 (can get for $240 using the 'Name your price button) plan though, no mention of Ozb there.. :)~

      • Can you pls explain me how to do it?

Kogan is now trying to win its customer back from Boost by offering $150, 80GB WITHOUT international calls. Shame, Kogan can't match the Boost's network (Telstra network coverage) and unlimited international calls and minutes)

  • Porting from Aldi mobile?

    • Porting out might be easier. They wouldn't move me from Telstra to boost so I ported to vodafone and back to boost. Sounds like a muck around but it's really not that bad.

  • Ported 2 SIMS from Aldi to Boost - went through perfectly in 10 minutes
