Ashampoo® Movie Shrink & Burn 3 Software (Also Burning Studio 10) for $10 Instead of $49.99

360

Edit: As commented by Dimtar "it looks like they found our little loophole". Prices back to the special of $10. I have updated the title to reflect this.
I have used Ashampoo® Movie Shrink & Burn and prefer it to the free converters that are out there.
Company is running a promo today (for the CFO's 49th birthday!) of everything for $10 except CAD software and a few others and there seems to be a further pricing anomaly.
From the supplied URL - do not click on the link to buy 'Ashampoo® Movie Shrink & Burn 3' (this offers the $10 price).
Instead click on the link to buy 'Ashampoo® Movie Shrink & Burn 2' then on the next webpage accept the upgrade offer to version 3.
Uncheck the boxes for 'premium support' and 'backup DVD' (unless you want them) - cost falls to $3.
Bargain because it is discounted. Of course if you prefer free software converters then pass on this.

Edit: thanks to 'the discombobulated panda':
"Please note that this trick also works for Ashampoo® Burning Studio 10 - Order v9 and then upgrade."
Edit: updated expiry date to 2 Sept (actually around 6am AEST Sat 3 Sep)

just make sure you use a disposable e-mail….. you will be spammed mercilessly……

  • Good Find - thanks OP!

  • Will this work with Windows 7 64 bit?

  • For $3, bought :)

Is this any better than DVD Shrink 3.2?

    • Yeah good question. Or VSO's Copy X to DVD or whatever it's called. That's what I use to turn AVI's into DVD for my folks.

      • X to DVD is the best I've used but it costs $50 :(

    • The description referenced only working with DVDs with no copy protection - so it would probably only be any good for DVD's that have already been stripped of CP - or didn't have any to begin with.

I might give it a bash anyway… as per the other replies though ConvertXToDVD is a VERY good program… if ashampoo can handle it without going out of sync it could be a contender though.

  • not working now

    • I can still get to the checkout, at least with burning studio

      • sorry, it's working…….. thanks

  • This company sure has made some junk software in thier day, goes back to the 1990's

  • Thanks for this & tricks ,bought Ashampoo® Burning Studio 10 & Ashampoo® Movie Shrink & Burn
    just for under $5

  • I'll give them a crack for this price. Cheers OP

  • Pretty sweet. I bought the burning studio with the same trick for 3 bucks! Nice work!
Will give it a shot at this price!

  • haha picked up both for $2.91 each…worth a go at that price i think.

  • Same trick can be used for some of their other products:
    HDD control 2: $5
    Magic defrag 3: $5.99
    Uninstaller 4: $4
    Winoptimizer 8: $7
    Photocommander 9: $6
    Magical security 2: $4

  • Unless I am doing something wrong it looks like they found our little loophole, I am not getting the option presented for an upgrade nor is the price reducing to $3, only $10.

    • yeah, not working for me either …

    • same, I tried it earlier and all products are $10

      • Just confirmed looks like they fixed the loophole :)

  • I went through and got all the way to paypal, confirmed payment, but then the transaction from paypal never took place. Anyone else getting this? The upgrade option is on the second page after you go to cart and untick the other two options and proceed, btw, for those wondering.

  • :(

  • I picked mine up yesterday for $2.91 Can you use the licence key to install the software on two notebooks, or is it single use only?

  • I changed from Nero Bloated Rom 9 to Burning Studio 10. Nero had been become too bloated and tried to take over my system too much. BS10 does the same thing as Nero/Roxio but without taking over your PC.
it is simple fast and small.

    • ha, I'm still using my free copy of Nero 7 Essentials :-D
