What if we don't have/want facebook?

    • -2

      buy from elsewhere?

    • +1

The Scooter Pro 2 is $799.99 for those that aren't members with coupon code scooterpro2,it is Still best price in the market for this new product line.

      • Are they seconds? Or returns?

    • +12

I stopped using Facebook ages ago!

      • If you are that desperate to get the best price possible, how hard is it to just a create a facebook account using an email address that's not your main one?

        • -4

Why should we need to? Surely the Rep can figure out a better way to do their marketing.

    • +6

      we don't have/want facebook?

I'm still on Myspace, thinking about moving to facebook soon.

      • +6

Try grindr instead I think it's more you

      • +2

Myspace? How revolutionary! I'm still on BBS boards.

  • Hey GB - Question re: your 360 S7 - can you buy a bigger battery for these?

    • +1

Only can change spare battery, no space to fit for bigger battery.

  • -3

    are these even legal?

    • +1

250w limit in most states and electric scooters aren't legal in nsw. edit seems qld just have a 25km/h rule not a power limit

      • They were legal at 200w even in nsw but that's really underpowered for a adult and not legal for kids under 16

        • Your thinking of motor assisted bicycles which are legal upto 200w. All electric scooters and skateboards are illegal which is (profanity) annoying.

          Stupid Gladys Bin Chicken

          • @ChickenDinner123: Yeh your right, only allowed on private property but it might change soon to match QLD since they did a Lime scooter trial that travel 25km/h. I'm from Melbourne tho and same things happening

    • +2

They're legal in QLD, other states have different restrictions.

  • -7

Tested with 75kg? What male weighs that light? All these scooters should be tested at 100kg. Talk about fuged and misleading sample data. Smh smh.

    • yeah but then they would need to say 4km Mileage Range not 45KM

    • +1

Tested with 75kg? What male weighs that light?

      My left leg.

    • +2

      Soy Boys

    • +3

In 2011-12, the average Australian man (18 years and over) was 175.6 cm tall and weighed 85.9 kg. The average Australian woman was 161.8 cm tall and weighed 71.1 kg. < sourced from ABS, latest figures.
Seems like around 80kg would be a good mid-ground test for average range.
Your suggestion of 100kg is further out of touch than their 75kg idea.

      • Their idea is just to make the numbers sound better rather than being realistic on performance. So im not sure about beinf more out of touch.

    • Given the average adult male in Australia is 85kg, my guess would be that there are slightly more 75kg males here than 100kg, provided weight is normally distributed.

      But yeah "fuged and misleading"…

EDIT: @Broos above just beat me!

      Found the fattie.

Hi Rep, how difference is it to the Ninebot Max ? Is ninebot superior to this ?

    • Based on the picture, the ninebot max has the better/sturdier folding mechanism

    • They are from the same OEM factory. Only different is size/

  • What's the main benefit of this new one over the old? Range?

  • FWD scooter…i thought they were all RWD!

    • +1

Haha. I've found the FWD on my M365 Pro is better and safer on a wet surface compared to a RWD one. 1600k's with no major problems on mine after 5 months so I can vouch for these models. Definitely buy a support guard for the rear fender though! Otherwise it'll eventually snap off.

      • +2

Scooter pro 2 have support athe back guard. Please check photo.

        • My mistake! Good that they added that to the new model. Mine must be a mid life cycle as the relfectors are yellow (red wheels) but didn't come with the back guard support.

        • You still don't want to reply my questions

    • +1

Are there any RWD electric scooters? Seems like a recipe for disaster.

      • +1

        Ninebot Max is.

        • There you go!

  • Currently looking for an e-scooter. I heard Xiaomi scooters have some flat tyre issues. Does the 2nd gen Pro fix it?

    • My first M365 Pro had 2 flats in the same spot caused by a puncture in a weird location (against the rim) within 350km of usage. Got it swapped out for another one and have done 1600ks with no issues so my first one must've had a manufacturing defect.

    • Still seem to be the same tyres as on the original. If they are, I've had a few flats, I'd recommend grabbing some solid tyres asap and doing the pain of swapping once.

      • The pages for the Electric Scooter Pro 2 and the Electric Scooter 1S refer to a new generation of 'comprehensively improved' tires, supposedly up to 3 times the durability of (what I assume has to be) the M365's and the M365 Pro's tires.

But I'm not sure, as I don't own either, and there seems to be very little information / discussion about this online

Any 100kg fatties tried v1 or this?

    • +5

I’m close to 100kg and have been riding mine for close to a year. Struggles up big hills but is otherwise awesome.

I don’t drive locally anymore - the scooter is so much quicker to get around on (and fun). No parking worries. Scoot right up to where you are going.

Can do a decent shop on one as well :)

      https://imgur.com/a/RD31uMa

      • Do you carry your scooter inside the shop with you, or chain it up outside?

        • +1

leave it outside to crack android apps for me

        • I lock it up outside.

          • @Onnzo: What do you use to lock it up? I just bought one 😁

            • +1

@HONDA4LIFE: I use an abus dlock mini. I mounted it to my scooter. You can just see it on the other side of the back wheel in my pic. It is green.

I have my scooter key/garage remote set. It’s just like driving a car :)

I’m thinking of integrating the garage remote into the scooter somewhere with a fixed push button (I do this with my cars) so I don’t have to carry it around.

              • @Onnzo: What are you using to mount the lock to your scooter?

                • +1

@johnno07: Just the regular lock mount drilled into the frame.

This is what inspired me to do mine.

                  https://imgur.com/gallery/0SLXuZc

I ended up just removing that cover - in that pick they custom printed their cover to go around the mount.

              • @Onnzo: A mini dlock seems the way to go.
Will have see what my usage is like first to see if I really need it.

        • Have that question too. Wondering if it's okay to put the scooter in the shopping trolley (Coles or Woolies) and take it inside

          • @Allenzzz: I used to take it in but it’s quite bulky/heavy (and I’m no stranger to lifting weights).

It’s just easier to park/lock it up. Youlle get over worrying about it soon enough (unless you’re in a super dodgy area).

          • @Allenzzz: Chance are you'll be locked up next to a bicycle that is a WAY more attractive target than an $800 scooter.

  • +1

I'm trying to see the difference between v1 and v2.. is it the light difference?

    • +1

      Yes, no mechanical difference

  • How difficult is it to change a tyre on these? Many videos online make it look like it is a ridiculous amount of effort required unless you have split rims. Solid tyres also apparently affect the comfort. Can anyone recommend best split rims scooter at this price range?

    • +1

Changing Tyres is easy. It’s all on YouTube. You just need a couple of pairs of pliers, cable ties and some tyre levers.

  • Interested in this deal.

  • I still haven't received my scooter. Still sitting in Melbourne since the 27/8. Anyone else receive their scooter?

    • Please send message to us, i will check for you, it should not take so long.

      • I have already reached out. Will PM you.

  • Any chance of this deal being repeated in the next few weeks? In the market for one.
