Thanks for the suggestion. I think it has also been suggested before that you can “bookmark” certain items for reference later.

However you can also check the list of deals that you have voted for — go to your profile page and click on the link to show Voted Deals. The functionality would be a little bit duplicated here, but I understand that the deals that you have voted are not necessarily the ones that you want to bookmark.

There’s one interesting feature in Dealpl.us (a popular US-based bargain sharing site) is Lists where users can create arbitary lists and then add deals into it. That could be an alternative as well.

yep that sounds like what i had in mind

it kinda came to me when i was going through digg.com

i vote alot of deals, mainly because theyre worth pushing to the front page

but the favourites list is something much smaller and a select few that would actually be useful to see again later without having to search through alot.

having arbitrary lists sounds like an even better idea, much like facebook’s friends list.

you can have “food deals” or “electronics” deals that you stash away, giving the bookmarking/favourites list categorisable.
