Emirates have a sale for travel across the tasman to NZ until tommorow (Monday) night…

Sydney to Christchurch > $129 // $258 return,
Sydney to Auckland > $149 // $298 return,
Melbourne to Auckland > $149 // $298 return,
Brisbane to Auckland > $149 // $298 return,

Unlike Qantas or Air NZ, Emirates has good food, unreal inflight entertainment and (in my view) a better carrier overall. The absolute most you pay for taxes is $126 on a return trip.
