Found this while shopping for a GPS, I will not purchase it myself however as it is out of my budget, just thought to .

RRP $499, the cheapest on Static Ice is $460, so must be a bargain!

Price does seem to be a mistake for the Australia version (not World), but the description does mention the 49 country maps. Maybe can also try price matching at JB or DSE?

Device is also eligible for the 12 Australia map updates over 3 year promotion by TomTom.

FYI, Got the Australia version from Bing Lee Alexandria a few months ago for $350 just by asking for it cheaper.
