Email Notification for New Deals on Ozbargain ???

Does anybody know how to get email notification for new Deals that Ozbargain has, how do I get an email sent to me once a New Bargain is summited or New Bargain shows up on the front page?

I Like the RSS feature but does anyone know a good RSS TO EMAIL Services as I like to be notified instantly Via Email rather then Reading it Via RSS any thoughts or suggestions would be great. :)

Jasx69 - I don’t think that there is that email service yet on OzBargain, the nearest thing that we have is a daily email (powered by FeedBurner) which will email you all of the deals posted during that day.

You can subscribe to the newsletter on the bottom of most OzBargain pages or via the Subscribe to OzBargain link.

I subscribed to FeedBurner already thanks what time do you get your updates ? is it the same time everyday ? Thanks

Normally it is in the morning before everyone wakes up (I’ve set up 3-5am AEST) so you can check it first thing in the morning :)

Sorry we currently do not have immediate email notification although it should be trivial to do. What we do have is Twitter integration and that’s pretty much immediate so when you subscribe to Twitter you can notification as soon as a new deal has been posted.

Another plan on my drawing board is Jabber/Google Talk notification so if you are on IM you can get notified straight away as well. Hopefully we’ll have that by the end of year.

Twitter sounds great it SMS you with updates small site that looks cute but no option to email new updates to you unless I couldnt find the options ?, it allows Updates Via SMS or IM which is great.

Im happy with Feedburner and Twitter SMS Thanks :)

Do note that Twitter + SMS costs and because we tweet immediately after a deal has been posted, you’ll probably get 10-20 messages a day. Worse, you also get messages when a dup has been posted (or site gets spammed). The dups/spams might get voted down but they still leave a trace on Twitter.

Thanks Funny I didnt see any premium charges for SMS I thought it would be free to receive SMS. :)
