expired Logitech Speaker Stand for iPad $29.87 (Usually $92) Due to Catalogue Error at BIG W

In this week's BIG W catalogue on page 24 they have advertised a Belkin Mini Dock for $29.87, however the actual image printed incorrectly is of a Logitech Speaker Stand which is usually $92. Because of this error, the iPad speaker stand has been reduced to $29.87 as well.

Here are the specs, the Logitech iPad Speaker Stand works via the Apple Connector or via 3.5mm line it - it isn't Bluetooth based, but we do have other Wireless Speakers that are.

This looks good though, because it's a dock charging stand. It'd be nice to sit that in my kitchen and have it play music whilst I read recipes whilst cooking etc. Also would work well in the study.
Now that would be a sight hahah!
Actually there are a few of us in the office that are heavy Tablet users and you find they use the various accessories on/off depending what they are doing. So they all kind of fit in between using laptop/smartphone then tablet. Just changes how/where you do things and gives you more flexibility. So not all the gear is for everyone, but they all plug different gaps.

Officeworks has this model if you want to try and get the lowest price guarantee. Don't know how well it will work with a pricing error though.

If that doesnt bother you, then its a good buy
+1 voteI rang 6.15pm and was told I could have QVs very last one. Got there - there was indeed only one left - and they were almost handing it to the guy in front of me who said he had had one put aside for him in the morning. The name on the box was a third person's!!! Fortunately the girl remembered my call & said she'd put the wrong name on it. Unfortunately the other guy didn't know who he had spoken to. So (after half an hour) I got it.
Over the years I have found that whilst they do sometimes run out of things, and you may have to wait, the staff's attitude towards service at Big W, QV has been exemplary!
Maybe, but they seemed to look after him too … I suspect they gave him a saving off something else. They didn't give it to me until he had been taken care of - hence the 30 minute wait. And that's an example of why, based purely on my personal experience, I think this store's service is very good (for a big chain store) - not because I got it. (Also perhaps he hadn't rung up of course and was trying to be clever.)
There's two little removable rubber grips where the iPad is held into place that can be removed so it fits the iPad 1. I have a Belkin Snap Shield on the back of my iPad 2 and it has to be taken off if I want to put it in this stand, however if I remove those rubber grips it fits in with the snap shield on :)

+2 votesGuys just to let you know, the sound on these are very tight and crisp for the size, a good overall balance with two drivers (stereo sound) music is very good too.
Is rated enough power to charge the ipad 5W+ with volume control on the base along with power blue led button. Cheers@ rokkz thanks for that, what sort of situation did you use the Speaker Stand in? Got totally stooged at Good Guys Oxley.
Waited 35 minutes while the staff and the owner investigated.
One staff member called Big W Carindale and pulled a ruler out and got them to measure the box.
He told me the Big W version is a smaller box. I told him i was recording them for legal reasons when
i actually had left my recorder at home…
He flipped and said it was illegal. Anyway in the end Carindale and Brisbane had no stock
so i could not get a price match. They investigated the website and catalogue but there is no product
called Logitech Mini Dock. Went to WOW Oxley and the lady said they pay $73 for them and wont match
even when i mentioned their price matching policies. She told me she would buy all stock at Big W to
resell at her store.
1 hour later and dockless 
Big W QV (Vic) and Macquarie (NSW) should be sister stores for one very good reason - they run out of stock at a ridiculous rate. Living in Melbourne QV was my closest store…if you didn't get your 'shopping' completed by 10am forget it - the cheapest item from each category sold out on a daily basis. Now I live in Sydney and Macquarie is my local Big W - same same as QV!

+1 voteJust picked one up at Officeworks Milton in Brisbane….Rang through to check if still available.Initially spoke to Windsor branch-they are out of stock …Milton has 7 left at 6.00pm…Have also checked other branches and Milton is your BEST bet…Aspley has 3 left.Girl at checkout was IN SHOCK as the retail price THEY are selling it was $98.00 !! They photocopied the Big W catalougue and gave me the price less 5%.WHAT A BARGAIN ! Needlesss to say I'm pretty HAPPY :)…THANKS plexor

Grabbed one of these earlier from Officework, as my local Big W did not have them for sale. Typing on it now.
Guy didn't really believe me at first. I had to wait 15 minutes whilst he looked up the online catalog on the Big W site. He thought it must be a different product, due to the different names, but eventually decided to let me have it when he saw the images were the same.
Feels great so far. Excellent build quality and pretty decent sound. Fantastic price for $30.
I thought this should be sold out everywhere by now but still worth checking. Just went to my local officeworks in SA.. They still had two. I took one so still one left at 7.43pm. At first, the check out girl was saying that it was not the same product since the BigW's use "Logitech MINi Dock", luckily there was another staff (or maybe manager) passing by and told her that they are the same and he even memorised the BigW's price. Seems that other ozbargainers had came before me ;D. Save me the hassle to argue with her.

Picked up the last two at Big W Kuraby at 6:00 tonight - none left at Garden City. There were a few people looking for them in the phone section, but I couldn't see any there so went around to the computer section where the mice and keyboards were - and there they were.
So check out both areas, just in case the Big W staff have decided to put all of the Logitech gear in the same place.
Thanks to the OP.The customer there at the same time as me last night had rung earlier to put two aside, and they were having trouble finding it in the home entertainment area. The guys were popping in and out of the stockroom trying to find them. Eventually, after I had picked two up for me, they thought of checking the computer area with the other Logitech equipment, and they got the last two.
So yes, they sold at least four last night and the bottom shelf under the mice and keyboards should still have the empty space where they used to be.
You could always ask for a rain-check - I'm not sure how that would go.
I had the same luck! Went to gateway Big W after calling up to confirm stock availability (been told about 5 left), couldn't find it anywhere on the shelf, there isn't even a spot for them, the staff there made me wait for 40 minutes before returning to tell me that there isn't any left. What a joke!
+1 voteGot the last two at OW Richmond. None left in the central CBD area but there were still some left at 9pm when I called in the surrounding suburbs. Thanks op! Gotta love OzB when you check before going to bed and end up going to bed an hour later with two brand new ipad docks sitting on your desk.
One is for a friend and one is for my future ipad :) Hopefully the ipad 3 will fit.
PS: it looks like there is an infrared sensor on the front, would this work with a logitech remote?
