Warcom's NEW networking cables stand out from the rest of the networking cables. Ethernet networks are the most common type of networks in existence today. Most of them currently run over twisted pair (UTP) cable. In this network, cross connections between walls and computers, patch panels and equipment, or between two pieces of equipment use patch cables. This Seltec cable is designed to go between a computer and the wall or between a patch panel and a piece of equipment. This patch cable is compliant with EIA/TIA 568 B.2 standard at an Enhanced Category 5 Level (commonly called Cat 5e). Cat 5e will support the following speed and protocols: 10 Megabit per second Ethernet (10Base-T), 100 Megabit per second fast Ethernet (100Base-TX) and 1 Gigabit per second gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T).
NB: Certain cable combinations may include a shipping charge. If this does occur, please simply note "Ozbargain" in the customer comments section during your checkout and the shipping cost will be removed prior to processing the order. Thanks

Thanks for that.
Not sure on the quality of their cables but our cables are really good. If you've got time for a bit of a read, please see this article:

samfisher5986 on 23/01/2012 - 20:48 ¶The majority of short cables will do gigabit regardless of quality.
I do agree that I wouldn't expect long MSY cables to work very well on gigabit.

i use msy cables and they work fine for my gigabit network.

Neg on your comment for technology fail. Just because the interface negotiated 1000fdx doesn't mean you're getting 1000Mbps. Just means the interface detected 4 pairs.
You need to borrow a proper cable tester (e.g. Fluke meter or similar) to measure noise, crosstalk, error rates, etc.
spawnpoint on 23/01/2012 - 17:42 ¶hmm I remember getting OW 15m cat5e cables for a similar moolah…those were pretty good as well

Third_Gear on 23/01/2012 - 21:20 ¶Nup - the data transfers so quickly through the cable it goes right on past the holes.

freemoneyhunter on 25/01/2012 - 07:12 ¶a cable is a cable.
use wifi, much eaiser than messing around with cables.
