expired Acer Aspire S3 13.3" Core i3 Ultrabook for $699 Delivered w/ Free Laser Printer
This was posted 1 year 3 months 18 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
UPDATE 8-Feb-2012: Since I originally posted this, Online Computer Store has graciously extended this special by posting a special coupon code "$100off" below and if you add "ozbargain S3" to the order comments they'll also include a FREE white and pink Fuji Xerox laser printer - please see OLC's comments below. I now wish I'd ordered from them instead of price matching at Office Works as OLC will price match them back. Thanks OLC!!!
I thought I'd share this deal I got on an Acer Aspire S3 13.3" Core i3 Ultrabook for my wife for Valentine's day. It's retailing at Office Works for $847 but I found it at Online Computer store for just under $700 (normally $768 but they are having a 10% off, 48 hour deal). I printed out the product page at Online Computer and Office Works happily price matched it + extra 5% bringing it to just under $664. My wife is very happy with it.

Acer Aspire S3-951-2364G34:
Intel Core i3-2367M processor (1.4 GHz)
13.3" HD 1366 x 768 screen, Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 128 MB of dedicated system memory
4GB DDR3 RAM / 20GB SSD + 320GB HDD
Wireless N / Bluetooth
HDMI 1080p / 2x USB ports / SD/MMC card reader / 3.5mm audio out
Win 7 Home Premium / MS Office Starter
3 cell battery
1 year warranty
It is incredibly skinny at 13mm, has very long battery life despite being only 3 cell (in one review it lasted more than 3 1/2 hours under extreme load test) and the SSD makes it very responsive when going to sleep and waking up. Note, there is no wired ethernet, no VGA out (HDMI only) and no optical drive.

+1 voteGood idea, I'll upload the scanned receipt tonight. Thanks for the feedback!

Meanwhile, AMD aims to undercut Intel Ultrabook notebooks with Ultrathins (cue sanitary napkin joke).
If anything, I'd probably wait until AMD comes out with their own before buying.
+3 votesAnd then wait another 3 weeks for Intel to undercut them again? If you come across a good tech deal, just buy it there and then. In 3 weeks there's always a better deal. Such are the struggles of being an early adopter and an OzBargainer ;)
[EDIT] P.S. Great first post Zimble! :)

Nice price - I am in the market for two ultrabooks.
Think I'll wait for Windows 8 (or the free Win8 upgrade voucher)
I also prefer an SSD drive and the 1600x900 res that the new models are all coming out with.
Think I'll wait for a Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga.Good deal at the moment though so +1
ThePistonHead on 07/02/2012 - 16:24 ¶weight and thickness. Even the MBA has poor battery life because of its form factor. Going to need an improvement in battery technology industry wide - nothing bar underclocking the CPU and other software mods that sets manufactures apart.

For those who want a bit more speed (i5 and 256GB SSD):

after the same 10% off for 48 hours it comes to $1092.77 + shipping. In addition they mention a $99 cashback, but the exact model number is not in the official list by Acer, so don't bank on that. For me that $99 difference is make or break on that deal. Waiting for clarification on this issue.
