This was posted 1 year 3 months 18 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Just popped onto the SKINS website and came across their up to 80% off sale. A few examples -
Mens Long Tights various colours $39.99
Mens Half Tights various colours $29.99
Mens Long Sleeved tops various colours $29.99
Mens Short Sleeved tops various colours $19.99
Mens Sleeveless tops various colours $19.99 (Originally $9.99)
The Ladies section seems to be very limited in sizes, only had XL in what I was interested in hence ended up buying Mens XS in what I was after.
Youth items are also on sale.
Free postage too…enjoy!

I do not wear the items during exercise, I wear them under normal clothes after playing.
My ageing body normally complains (in the form of sore muscles) for a few days after playing, but I find the soreness is either reduced significantly, or eliminated altogether when I remember to take my compression gear.I believe the theory is that the compression squeezes the blood out of your capillaries, thereby assisting the body to remove lactic acid buildup from muscles and therefore reducing the amount of muscle damage and as a side effect reducing muscle soreness.

Improved blood flow should in theory mean better performance during exercise. However I think they are more commonly used for recovery, reducing the severity of DOMS aka exercise induced muscle damage (EIMD)

ebayaddict on 08/02/2012 - 11:14 ¶great deal! thanks for the post. just got some half tights, was hoping for some long ones too but none in my size. i found i couldn't even get to the checkout in firefox, but IE worked better. be patient, it took around 15 minutes to submit order information before the paypal screen came up.
engineeringprof on 08/02/2012 - 11:17 ¶Anyone have luck using the newsletter discount code
"SIGNUP10%"
ronyronron on 08/02/2012 - 11:21 ¶Same same, it took a while and a few reloads but it got there in the end.

Got through to submitting payment method before it seized up completely, no doubt by the time I get it to work the items I want will be gone..
Might be lucky as it seems everyone is a medium or a small or here and i'm a large.. nobody touch the LDL full lengths please ;D
kamikaze_ozbargain on 08/02/2012 - 11:46 ¶man, it was perfectly fine at 8:25am WST now its fullyeee borked :(

Can someone explain technically what kind of traffic brings a site like that down? How many people would have seen this deal and want to buy SKINS? I guess it is not like hundreds of thousands of requests are hitting it every second. Are we talking tens or hundreds of requests per second? Is it usually in the server's CPU speed, low memory or internet bandwidth?

+10 votesAre you a troll or simply ignorant?
When a site gets ozbargained, it runs out of resources to serve any more requests - regardless of where you try to access it from. When it really was down, I checked with isup.me and a US VPN - both didn't work.
The store works directly now - probably because all the common sizes are sold out.
If you want to be arrogant, you should make sure you know what you're talking about first.

scubacoles on 08/02/2012 - 15:51 ¶Ditto..
The effect of squeezing blood out of the surface flesh probably also contributes to the coolness feeling.

+6 votesso sorry about this everybody, we literally got 'ozbargained'.
we are doing everything that we can, but it may be flaky for a while.
we are in the process of moving our servers from Hong Kong to the US in the next month or two, then hopefully all will be smooth for the next sale.
please keep trying, we still have heaps of stock of most things.thanks

sale items are all EOL (end of line), so if the stock runs out, we won't ever have it again in AU.
please keep trying to order, we have people all around the world working on it.contact customerservice.au@skins.net if you have any further enquiries.

We always appreciate knowing whats going on.

again guys, sorry about the frustrating nature of this!
we are basically having to open up windows of time where people can get their orders done and then checkout.
my advice at this point is, if you can add something to the cart, do it as quickly as possible and be ready with your payment.

shalashaska on 08/02/2012 - 13:32 ¶YEAH BUDDEH !
Order has been processed.
Took me 15 minutes. Guess i was lucky
