  a cheap SSD anyway, the cpu is more battery life friendly rather than a 'set-your-pants-on-fire' performance cpu! but i suppose if the cpu and hdd are both slow a SSD upgrade would make the netbook seem even faster

These AMD processors are so slow. Have used one before and would not recommend.

ITestate has an Lenovo G570 with i5 for $450 after cashback. Worth the extra $50 over this computer.

      Not really notebook size with netbook specs. The battery didnt last as long as the netbook. Just breifly around normal operating hours, 3~4. And it is missing bt if anyone care.

  Yes I agree. E450 is actually pretty good for netbooks, okay for 11.6" but definitely not worth it for a laptop-sized 2.6kg machine where people want to do "real work" on it.

For $100 more for a laptop, you can get a quad core, more RAM, more HDD space, bigger screen, better graphics card.
