Obviously not super-schmick for the average living room, but I've been buying shelving units lately, and these seem OK to me, for a bargain-basement price. Good for the garage, shed, or a student (or living on a student budget, like me ^_^ )

+1 voteActually this is not a good deal because it is bolt together which is a real pain!
Something more or less comparable from Officeworks @ $19.98
Dimensions: 710 x 300 x 1370 mm.
Weight Capacity: 50kg per shelf.
5 year warranty.http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Furniture/Shel...
+2 votesWe have something similar too which took about a year or two to assemble.
It's not too bad if you have heavy stuff on the bottom, and the lighter stuff on top…and have it resting against a wall or something.
I'd never get another bolt together shelving system.
I'm sure Officeworks had clip together shelves about a week ago for a very good price. Can't find it now.

Err, doesn't it say "no screws"? From which I gather it is actually easy to assemble.
I too have had experience with those that are not "boltless", which literally used something like 50-60 screws to put together. Took ages and my back hurt from just bending down to do it! It's a workout.

TheManFanMan... Fan on 21/02/2012 - 19:03 ¶How good is the bunnings one? Like is it all wobbly & stuff or does it seem fairly sturdy?

tebbybabes on 21/02/2012 - 20:57 ¶I bought 6 of those in Bunnings around 18 months ago. I do believe I also got them $29. They're powder coated steel so none of the sharp edges of the galvanized version. I think the galvanized version was only $19 though.
I have all sorts of stuff on them and they're not wobbly at all.
The shelves themselves are bare particle board so keeping them dry is important.

I bought this from HN Big Buys for $99 >_<:

Can someone provide a comforting but objective reason that I shouldn't regret… $_$

60kg per shelf is not bad given the price. Becareful of getting the shelf wet as it appears to be bare particle board, which can swell and damage over time if exposed to dampness
