vista readyboost is not supported - which means slow. for this 30$ you can get vista readyboost 8gb from MSY (33$ to 36$ kingston)

$9.99 shipping is too much for an item so small. It’s basically packed in a normal envelope and sent as a registered letter. So the shipping cost is definitely not justified.

Having bought a cheap 8gb usb drive with low read/write speeds it’s unbearable. Honestly spend the extra dough and get something that’s FAST

Having bought a 2GB with low read/write speeds is unbearable. I cannot imagine an 8GB.
Have a look around, you should be able to find an 8GB for under $40 easily.
