Yes it is more than enough for a 1995 for laser. The SN designation meant it is the highest SAE rating. The lower the second letter (N)the better. I think when the 1995 laser came out the latest SAE rating was SG. Then as the years progressed the oil quality increased to SH, SJ, SL and SM. SN is the latest I have seen.
Having said that, some older cars need the older SAE rating like SL but I think this is good for your car.
Newer car post 2004 I would recommend a lighter oil like 5W-30 or 10W-30 at least.
ultraskool on 21/03/2012 - 06:40 ¶I recently changed my engine oil for a Toyota Echo. I think this is a good deal. but it says Modern Engines? I'll buy it and keep it for next year. Do Engine Oils have an Expiry date?
highon2str on 21/03/2012 - 06:47 ¶This will be fine for a 95 laser and echo. SN rating is one of the highest. viscosity wise this will be fine for most of the previous gen cars. This world be similar to the nulon stuff. I think economies of scale work for Castro here - they produce alot of oil for the factories and the industry. We used to buy them (magnetec) in 205L barrels :D
