Fusion active 12" subwoofer in a wedge enclosure, comes with a full wiring kit power,RCA, remote adjust knob, fuse and fuse holder. By active i mean it has an inbuilt amplifier. It is on page 6 of the new supecheapauto catalogue here http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/catalogue-au.aspx i just got one from my local super cheap auto in sunshine. I think personally its good enough and the wiring kit of that quality itself costs around $50. The cheapest i would find around online was $180, supercheap claims you are saving 50% but i don't know. Anyway someone tell me then what you think of the deal.

    Great deal OP!

I'd also be interested to hear the 8 inch!

The 8" was in that sweet spot of slim size but it was 50$ more and my wallet is still recovering so i decided to pick this specific one. But i think for the size I'd pick the 8"

Thanks. And sure its a great sub plus that wiring kit came in handy it was just plug and play. Of course you can easily guess its my first sub.

This is a bargain! Sub already in a box with amplifier built into it and a wiring kit thrown in. All you need is someone handy to run your power, ground and remote wire and you have instant bass.. no need to screw anything in because it's an all-in-one! If you really want to mount the box try velcro strips on the bottom of the box.

And no I don't work for Fusion or Supercheap.. Just excited because I almost paid full retail for this thing a few days ago and I thought it was a good deal then! Now I can have 2.. (seperate cars ofcourse) ;)

Haha :) your comment reminded me of how i was looking forward to picking it up from the shop yesterday. I was really excited and it sure did not disappoint me. I also went with the velcro and i can for one tell you its as steady as a rock even in the most heavily bunked corners.

sega and ze, am intending on installing this myself with my limited car audio knowledge (have installed my head unit using an ISO adaptor lol). were there any tuts you guys found particularly useful when installing this? my pioneer head unit has a sub out with individual sub control so am assuming I can just plug this 'all in one' sub straight in. bit confused about how to wire the power though. any advice appreciated and thanks for the post!

the power in my car was a bit straight forward because my battery is in the boot lol (mercedes design) anyway the other cables were just easy to route. For most cases i've seen around you just have to route the positive (big red cable) through the firewall at the front. Just look for any unused holes there (most times they are sealed with rubber gromets) , after you have it through then routing it to the back becomes easy. Have a watch of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOEsJUidf_0 and other amplifier installation guides to get a good idea of what to do because essentially what you will be installing here is the built in amplifier and the sub is internally connected to that. I also would advise you buy some velcro, at the end of the installation stick the hooked end over the base of your sub then all you will have to do is just put it in place and it will be stuck on the boot floor (the more velcro you use the more stuck it will be). Lastly on opening the box first get the wiring diagram and have it where you can continously have a look at it during the installation.
