Super Cheap Auto has these sales at the start of the year and Easter like clockwork. Time to pick up oil/filters/etc for the next service. Love these sales.

  • Nice definitely time to pickup some oil and filters and other random car stuff

  • i'm still recovering from the last 20% off sale in January lol

and what great timing…my free $50 SCA gift card just arrived in the mail \o/

  • ok. time to change filter and engine oil..

  • Is this online too or in-store only?

Does it mean that DSE brought all of their GPS devices and now they don't have enough to include in the sale?

  • planning to get air compressor, any cheap and good one in sca ?

    • I don't know much about air compressors but this price seems pretty good, even before the sale

      • Aw link doesn't work for phones.

    • My advise for you if your getting an air compressor is maybe wait a little, generally they come down to 50% off in other sales and come with a lot of extra gear(which is extremely useful and you will need). There will highly likely be one in the next catalog (there always is one), which will probably be in another 2 weeks if you are willing to wait.

  • Does anyone know if you can order online on Saturday for pick up in store, but come in on another day (eg Tuesday), if the prices will stay discounted?

"Q: Can I order online and pick up from my local store?
A: Unfortunately this option is not currently available."

    • Yes you can click and collect on another day. Just place the order on the Saturday and pay for it online.

Edit: Supercheap has just recently introduced the click and collect system

      • not soon enough :)

they really need to update that FAQ then

        • Great. I shall order on the day to take advantage of the sale, and pick up the items later in the week then.

  • I believe this deal is in-store only.

    • Should be online as well

  • Time to buy my air compressor? I think so :D

  • thanks I've been waiting for this.

  • What is a good Diesel Fuel additive these days?

    • 2 stroke oil @ 200:1

  • sounds like my old rx7

  • Does any know if 20% off includes "SWAP n GO" gas cylinders? Thanks :)

    • Almost 100% sure it won't.
The gas is basically rented by another company.

      • I tried any way and it was 20% off. Got 8.5KG for $24!!

  • I'm after some washer fluid. Are these available at SuperCheapAuto? I did not see any the last time I was there. Apparently I shouldn't just use normal water.

Try RainX washer fluid additive. It makes water bead and quickly run off the windscreen, which in turn requires using the wipers less and maintaining better visibility. I use it in my car.

      • Is that an additive? I had a feeling you just applied it once and its good for a few months.
Also its like $14 a bottle!

        • They do have an additive now but I am a bit suspicious about it. When I use the standard spray application if you don't wipe it evenly across the screen it leaves a translucent residue. With the wipers applying it I fear there will be a build up of that residue on the edges where the wipers end. Also some reviews indicate the wipers don't apply the rainx evenly enough and in the end just smudges the screen with the residue when it drys obscuring your view!

        • That's what I was thinking.
My wipers are replacements and not as long as the originals, and you would think if you have a hydrophobic coating on part of the windscreen and part without. The water will just accumulate on the non-coated surface (still windscreen).

If anything i'd stick to the spray applicator.
Or wait for that crazy repellant stuff from Ryan industries or whoever it was (repels all liquids, even chocolate sauce haha!)
