Telstra Turbo USB MF626S 3G $29

22

Must be run-out stock. But for $29 (free delivery) it's a good item to have in your bag as a backup. includes 1GB / 15 Day expiry.

BigW have the same stick, but no stock. http://www.bigw.com.au/electronics/mobile-phones-internet/mo…

In before jv complains about price not being in title.

  • backup for $29/15 days … bit expensive aint' it?

    • i ordered one. Going to have it as backup and drop my Ipad sim in it when required.

    • Is the expiry for these from a date that you can choose? IE: can I just hold on to it and activate it later if/when I need it and then have it for 15 days?

Yes usually good for around 2 years.

  • Same price in K-Mart from the 19th

    • With the data the same also & do they do price match or better with the telstra offer knocking 5 or 10% off.. or not seeing as it is a telstra device?

      • is it really worth the effort for $1.45?

ALSO, seems woolies and coles have this in their weekly catalogues for the same price as above. I think its the new price

  • Is speed good on these things……

    • Yes, they work extremely well with nextg

    • Depends which way the wind is blowing.

Not a special or bargain, been at officeworks at this price for a few months.

    • I agree. You can buy it at office works BUT with 2GB credit.

      • Any chance the period to use up the data is longer, in the OW version?

15 days is (maybe normal for de facto monopoly Telstra) well -below- average.

  • in coles catalogue for same price next week

  • I think I saw it at the Coles Express at the Shell petrol station in Five Dock on Parramatta Road about 2 weeks ago for $19?

  • I would rather keep the $29 in my pocket but it is a good price for Telstra users, could even resell on ebay in a few months

    • Yes but for how much? $30 will get you an Elite USB modem.

  • Would this work with a telstra post paid sim?

  • this doesnt really seem cheap at all…. seriously a shame.. telstra has a freaggin good network.. but way too expensive…

i've tried telstra, virgin, optus and woolworths sims..

so far, the most value for money is woolworths sim.. i used about 30 gbs over 4-5 weeks.. and it has never seemed to fail on me..

Telstra is good.. but it is way too expensive (i can't really justify the extra speed..) $20-30/gb
Optus/woolworths are the same and i think are value for money Woolworth $6/gb , optus approx $9/gb
Voda is not really that great… coverage could be way better.. $10/gb

    • It's not about the price it's about the coverage. I am going regional for a few days and unfortunately neither optus neither woolworths cover those areas. Telstra is the only one who seems to work in that area.

  • Its $29 at

    Jb (now)
    Office works (now)
    Kmart (from Thursday)
    Coles (from Wednesday)
    Woolworths (from Wednesday)

  • Good news. It actually comes with 2gb data even though claims 1gb on the box. I activated over the phone. Got mine from Dicks though.
