I guess it’s just a label printer. Great for small to medium sized business or anybody who requires professional looking labels. You’ll be amazed at the amount of time you can save using a label printer instead of manually addressing packages/letters or just writing a label.
Zhenjie. We know that you work or own label city so dont play us for fools.
I suggest you change your post as you are engaging in deceptive and misleading advertising by not stating the GST is not included in the purchase price.
Sections 52 and 53 of the Trade Practices Act 1974 prohibit businesses from engaging in misleading and deceptive conduct and from making false and misleading representations about, amongst other things, the “price of goods or services”.
From the ACCC website:
“If a business has been listing GST-exclusive prices for other business customers, it can continue to do so, as long as the site clearly states that GST has not been included.”
DrLobster. I have no affiliation at all with Labelcity.
I copied and paste what Labelcity sent out in their promotional email today. Isn’t posting a bargain what this site is all about?
So I didn’t include the GST price in the original post, wow! no need to be an a$$ about it, just get me to edit it. Some people jeez!
(Edited by scotty — remove personal attacks)
Just Chill Out Guys, Make sure you read the fine print before you buy and double check you invoices, I am not sure if zhenjie works for Label City or not, but if a OzBarginer thinks its a good deal let him take it up and buy it.
P.S: zhenjie please always include GST in your bargains, beacause GST or No GST can change what is a great deal and what is not.
I have only removed your personal attack, but have NOT removed your defense in this case.
No, I do not think his accusation is justified, but there’s no need to call people names when you are defending your case.
@DrLobsters — please justify your reason why you think that zhenjie is working for the said company.
the Dymo and the P-Touch both do high quality labels, and the tapes are widely available in stationers/newagents/office suppliers, but the main disadvantage to these devices, is the extraordinarily high price of tapes. if you are using it regularly, you would save yourself a lot of money by buying a cheap colour laser printer ~$150 and some sheets of adhesive labels.
eg. for ~$40 you can buy 7m of tape (=230 envelope labels), or 65 pages of Avery A4 adhesive labels (=910 DL envelopes). you can also get heavy-duty waterproof, permanent type sticky labels for ~$50/25pages (=350 env.), you also aren’t restricted to a duotone label.
but if you want something small, portable and simple to use a label printer is the way to go.

I think it is $50 + $5 (GST) totalling $55 - not $50 as mentioned.
