Multi-Color VFD Display Unlike a LCD display, a VFD display is an active device providing a brilliant, eye catching glow in a wide spectrum of colors. Generating its own light, a VFD display is brighter than an LCD, offers more contrast, and is easier to read in direct sunlight.

They're horribly inefficient, and your electricity bills will reflect that. But on a hot summer's night if it means you can get a good nights sleep it's probably worth it.
+3 votesHear Hear! I own 2 different brands (one reputable and one no-name) and both have greatly improved the quality of my families life in a rental during the Brisbane summer immensley. So long as people read the specs and understand the limitations they are great (ie noisy, power hungry, limited to x square metres room size).
Incidently, I have been told evaporative coolers are pretty good in dry conditions out west. But all i know first hand is that in Brisbane they only cool you down if you accidentally spill some of the water on yourself.

i been out to the Nightingale clearance center late last year, that warehouse is enormous!. Hopefully we get a few deals posted here, because some shelf prices were really ordinary(mainly on the tv's there, 42inch hd plasma for $899)
Anyways, this is a good deal, price is good, pickup not too hard, 10 mins from west gate bridge roughly, if that.
can you guys do anything good on a 32inch full HD LCD?, i need one carton damage/broken housing, need a panel for a project :)

Alright, this is dodgey stuff. You've got the same username as the poster above you and you've only been registered for a few minutes.
I think it's right to assume there's a 'lovethedeal'1 through 8 at least. What's the deal? You sockpuppeting or something?
Mods, sort this out.
+2 votesive got one of these units. paid about 400$ 2 years ago. ideal for small/med room. Cant say the dehumidifier does anything special but the aircon is decent. Comes with hose to vent out hot air externally. All in all decent quality, 2 years on still going strong.

Some bright spark in a marketting department just thought "since it's taking moisture out of the air, why not call it a "dehumidifier" and sell it as an added feature?"
+3 votesBe careful buying from this company. if the product comes to you broken, they will expect you to pay postage back. They state they only sell new products but a recent visit to their wharehouse many products had obviously been opened with a crude attempt made at resealing them. They are dishonest and will lie if it suits them. This is based on personal experience. Weigh up saving a few dollars compared with buying from a more reputable company. They have also been caught by 4corners program importing cheap airconditioners with false electricity consumption ratings. Think carefully before getting such a heavy product shipped to you, especially if you are interstate.
