Agree the 248WFP is a bit better, but I missed that deal. Not missing this one.
Almost bought a 2nd hand Acer for $240 yesterday so pretty happy with this deal.
Sure there are better monitors, but bang for buck this is hard to beat.
Johnforeplay I agree that at least in television terms 1920x1080 is full HD (Samsung, Sony, Philips, etc LCD TV’s do that resolution and are FULL HD)
This monitor is actually shaped like a TV, hence the 1920x1080 I believe
That offers you 10% discount if you are a motor club member (NRMA, RACQ, etc).
If you are a uni student or work for a number of employers who have Dell deals (eg. NAB, Westpac, Telstra)
Yes, it is a fraction smaller. I used this calculator to help figure out how much bigger it is than my current 16:10 22” and how much smaller it is than a 24” 16:10.

I think I’m going to get this one and sell my 22” :)
You can also use this coupon to get 20% off :)
RS7S3VM5RVJS3Q
The coupon works on any monitor but you have to order it from the small business site. It wont work on the home sales section.
I should have made my own bargain post on the main page for 20% off all monitors :D Someone else can do it if they wish :)
Aluka
You can only use either the NRMA/EPP 10% offer
OR
The small business 20% offer
The small business is obviously the best way to go
Thanks heaps!! just bought 6 —- ready for x’mas pressies :)
I was trying to buy one but the 20% coupon didn’t seem to work. It gave this message:
The following coupons entered does not meet eligibility requirements. Click “View Details” link(s) for more information.
Associations - 20% Off Ultrasharp Monitors & Laser Printers
Anyone knows if it’s been adjusted?
Oh well, I just pulled the trigger on one using the 20% small business code. Getting it delivered to my work address and using my work email anyway. Only problem is, I know our IT dept get a lot of stuff from Dell so hopefully they don’t ring them and query the payment method.
D’oh. Maybe zfcwjc bought the last one :) Since this code is also on Whirlpool and other forums, don’t expect it to last very long :(
Just ordered one and another test order. hehe..cos i choose the wrong payment method and couldn’t figure out how to change method so i just sent a message to Dell customer support telling them to cancel the first order and that i had already created another order with the correct payment method. yeah, so the vouchers should still be working(as of 9:30pm AEST). Cant wait for this lil’ beauty to arrive :)
Just wondering how long after peoples orders where their credit cards debited? I ordered at around 16:00WST but nothing has gone through yet. I know I’m being impatient, but I’m really hanging out to see the order confirmation email [got the order acknowledged one instantly].
Looks like my CC transaction has gone through today. I guess everyone who ordered on the weekend got theirs sorted out rather quickly but come Monday when the rest of us jumped on, the order processing slowed down a bit. No biggie, I’m in no rush, just good to see a positive sign.
No update on the order status page though, still says: “Current Status: Your order have been received by Dell and will be processed once payment information are verified.”
Will keep my fingers crossed.
Ordered qty 2 on Saturday 5th Oct

umm.. sorry to bring bad news to anyone who’s undecided on getting one of these.. but word is that the code is NO longer valid, and yes, i’ve checked, it no longer works. well..it was great while it lasted and oh yea.. I’VE GOT ONE ON THE WAY! haha…sorry to rub it in folks :P
I have 3 on the way - all are tracking in MoneyBackCo at the moment. From painful experience I suspect we will get the money back from Dell, but it will take ~6 months.
The 1 ordered on Saturday will be delivered Monday. Friday and Tuesday’s orders do not have ETA’s yet.
BTW - The coupon is still working, at least for 27” monitors - bear in mind you must use the SMALL BUSINESS part of the Dell web site……
The code is dead but you can still get the $80 off
And use the EPP 10% discount coupon
Only thing is you have to login through the Home user section of the Dell site
(EPP codes won’t work in the small business section)
Because the code used to work on this specific model and Dell does not verify whether you are a QuickBook user. Lucky for those who have used the code and grabbed a bargain. However the EPP and autoclub codes still work so the price is probably the cheapest 24” LCD at the moment.
Don’t think it’s going to last very long as AUD now sits on $0.66-$0.67 USD…
I have updated the Dell store profile page with links to EPP code and coupon code for autoclub members. Note that Dell might ring you up to verify whether you are eligible for these offers.
Also be easy on the Caps Lock…
this code does work just make sure your in the home section: http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/compare.aspx/30lcd?...
My Tuesday order is being delivered Tuesday next week - they called around 11am today.
Hi,
I’ve got to agree - too late again!!
Anyone know of any other 24” or bigger monitors with free delivery at around A$300 each?
I worked out the above 24” monitor is $499 with cash off $150 plus postage from $49 up puts the price outside what I want to pay. I do however like the 3 year warranty Dell gives on each of their monitors.
