Our company actually moved to the ex-Jetstar offices :) So That explains where they went!
I also know that their online chat is managed in Melbourne (South Melbourne in fact) by a real person in Australia. Not sure if that's just a trial and they will move that OS as well.
I guess it's either they reduce their costs or go out of business like other airlines.
For me personally as long as the service is prompt, efficient and accurate, that's the main objective.
thanks

I don't mind they move their call center as long as they can communicate in english well and get the job done asap and correctly. The least can be said for some of the service desk staff they have…
+1 voteI went to your website and entered a false email address because I'm not going to give my email address out until I see if the website is any good. So, I got taken to the deals and my anti-virus immediately picked up that your website sent me a trojan. It has never happened before. It has supposedly been removed, but I am fuming. Has your website been infected or are you just doing some sneaky crap?

I think it should also be noted that Jetstar is a group of airlines, of which only Jetstar Australia (JQ) is 100% Qantas owned.
Other Jetstar Airlines include:
Jetstar Asia & Valuair (3K & VF) = 51% Singapore-owned.
Jetstar Pacific (BL) = 73% Vietnam-owned.
Jetstar Japan (GK) = 67% Japan-owned.
Jetstar Hong Kong = 50% China-owned.Which is why you do not gain Qantas frequent flyer points when flying with Jetstar Japan, Pacific, and Hong Kong.
