Samsung Galaxy S III i9300 White 16GB $719 + $13.80 Postage from MobileCiti

540
GS3719OZB

When Samsung Galaxy S III launched last week, MobileCiti didn't do too well when they posted their first SGS3 deal. Price tumbled after just a week ($746 on their website), and MobileCiti also offered a coupon code to bring the price own further.

Use code GS3719OZB to get Samsung Galaxy S III 16GB for $719 + postage, which should be $13.80 standard eParcel delivery to most cities.

These are unlocked Australian stock with 24 months manufacturer warranty. Not grey imported and price includes GST (for TRS or buying through GST-registered business). DickSmith offer might be a bit cheaper, but more fiddly when you need to buy gift cards.

  • This coupon work on any of the other phones, or just the S3?

    • I think just the SGS3. It's a special offer for OzBargain for that specific phone. I guess trying to redeem their previous attempt :)

Get price protection mate and enjoy it now.

      • What are you using for price protection? (A credit card scheme?)

        • 28 degrees master card.

        • Is it really worth it after what it is costing you?

        • +3

It cost me nothing so I don't get what you mean. There is a 0.5% fee charged at the end of the month and if you pay your balance before end of month there is no charge.

        • so… SMART!

        • OK I see, I did not know that. So you always pay your balance and thus get protected without spending money on the protection… nice.

        • I'm a big fan of my 28 degrees card for non-AUD purchases and thumbs up for avoiding the charge but this price protection sounds too good to be true. I've read through the PDS for this insurance and it only covers a reduction in price at the same store (or chain) and excludes (amongst other things) if the price reduction is "due to price matching", "conditional on cash payment" or "offered as part of a special deal involving other items or benefits". Sounds like there is a fair bit of wriggle room here for the insurer to deny claims.

        • But then if you get it for free like orange123 by paying your balance before the end if the month then no harm… I would be interested in hearing whether people actually claimed on price protection successfully?
As an early adopter that would def give me some peace of mind!

      • unfortunately my credit card does not have price protection I dont believe

    * This product is not available in the requested quantity. 1 of the items will be backordered.

    • Shows "Availability: In stock" for me…

      • Same. The message I mentioned above was displayed viewing your cart.

        • I see. I was told that this promo will run for 3 days. Don't tell me they have very limited quantity and got ozbargained on the very first night!

        • Hi scotty

          promo still going

    • Hi orange123

Ignore the message, more stock will be coming tomorrow, all backorder will be release by tomorrow.

      • Since you wrote this comment at ~4am does tomorrow mean as in today Wednesday or Thursday?

I was thinking of coming in store and buying it this afternoon?

  • When will you be getting Pebble Blue?

    • current ETA for Blue - Friday 08/06

      • So if this promo is running for 3 days then we can pick up a Blue for 719$ on Friday?

When will you be able to confirm you have them in stock? (I.e. can I call thursday night?)

  • Great price and proper warranty! Would have been all over this if I was in the market for a new mobile.

  • Price war already?
    Fight! Fight! Fight!

Tempted!! Flying to NZ tomorrow and can use TRS to get it for $647!

Have the SGS2 atm, anyone want to convince me why I should upgrade?

    • +3

You'd get it for $653 not $647, to remove gst you can't take 10% off, rather you need to remove 1/11, or divide by 11 and multiply by 10.

    • You have another reason to empty your wallet again. Isn't that exhilarating?

      • Speaking on my gf's behalf I see. OK FINE! I'LL HOLD OUT.

I have bought from Mobicity before, Great service!! I bought a Blackberry for my girlfriend at the time and got Mobicity to ship to Sri Lanka where she was living at the time. She broke up with me two weeks later, that's a different story..

    • now get her the Galaxy S3 she will get back with you! now start making the ORDER!!! LOL

    • :(

    • +2

First of all, this is mobileciti not mobicity. Completely different, mobileciti is much better and sell Australian stock, no bloatware. Secondly, lol.

      • thanks for clarifying cause i went to the mobicity website and saw their outragous prices….

  • Just wondering how to confirm about the 24 months warranty. The Australian Samsung site states 12 months.

    http://www.samsung.com/au/support/warranty/warrantyInformati…

    • Well all the unlocked Australia stock sold online mentions 24 months warranty.

    • 100% 24 Months Warranty For Our Samsung GS3 Stock.

  • Hello Mobileciti rep,
This current deal can be purchase directly from your Parramatta store using the code GS3719OZB?

  • I've never tried Samsung smart phone. I need to save for more money for it. Anyway, it's a good deal.

  • I'll go your store to buy Sat morning if the promo still valid then

    • Unfortunately, the deal is end on Friday 8th. thanks

  • decent deal if i lived in sydney. i prefer $747 at dick smith (without gift cards) which gives me peace of mind if warranty issues come up. easier to walk down to dick smith if warranty issues come up than drop it in the mail.

  • Has the pebble blue come in yet? I'll second the $700 cash and store pickup if available tomorrow after 4pm?

    • If the blue is in, I will be in after 4pm as well for $700 pickup.

      • I can't believe you guys. This is the cheapest price you can get Aussie Stock for and you still say you want it cheaper. Give the rep a break.

        • Agreed, id be really happy with blue for 719

    • Hi Guys

Blue one still not in yet, I think it will delay to early next week.

      • ah bummer, well when it does come in hopefully we see another great ozbargains deal :)
