expired Myer: Outdoor Kids Swing Sets for $35 Each (Two Styles). Was $249, Then $135, Now $35
This was posted 11 months 19 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Just saw this on a pamphlet at the kids counter at myer chatswood. It must be part of the stocktake sale.
Two different styles of kids outdoor swing sets (sorry can't upload photos on the go but will do when I get home). Think hills green-tubular-steel style sets: one had four swings plus a see-saw, the other had three swings plus a slide. Both were $35, down from the 'clearance price' of $135 and then I saw the original price were $249.
A friend did some further investigation "Hey just spoke to Myer Eastgardens & they have them there too. Sale goes til July sometime or until sold out. The guy said they have 30 of each in the warehouse." FYI myer chatswood didn't have any in stock but they were getting another shipment of them on Monday.
EDIT: pics of the two sets (from the pamphlet) are —>

For those commenting on postage, I'm not sure what's going on in Qld but I had two Myer stores in Sydney confirm that although the stock is in the NSW warehouse, the Myer staff can have it brought to any store (this is what we did) and then we pick up from the store for free. The dimensions of each flat-pack box are in the 'original price' photo above - two boxes which are 2.2m long each. These boxes should fit in most cars where rear seats fold down (if you fold down the front passenger seat too).

Phoenixsun6 on 07/06/2012 - 15:29 ¶A lot of stores (especially mine in belconnen, ACT) don't stock them and as such have to order them and come with a hefty $75 delivery fee!! So not that much of a bargain unless a store stocks them.. Good find though O.P
Phoenixsun6 on 07/06/2012 - 17:07 ¶Nope, there's no way around the delivery fee if they don't normally stock them. Unless the person serving you is incredibly nice and can somehow order it to the store for you

Go to www.actionsports.com.au. It lists the various dimensions and weights for each of the kits…
+1 voteSeems like itzwazza is right - I just called one of the Myer stores in Melbourne who confirmed that this product is only available from their warehouse but needs to be ordered from a store. Cost for product is $35 but delivery cost quoted was $55 for MyerOne member or $10 more for non members.
apate - did you get the product delivered or managed to pick-up? Anyone knows if any Myer in Melbourne has pick-up option?
+1 voteI just updated my post (with photos too). I managed to pick-up from Chatswood in Sydney. As commented above, there was no stock in the Chatswood store but the staff member said the store was getting another 20 delivered on Monday so she would add one more to the order (so 21 are being delivered to the store). On Monday they are calling me to let me know it has arrived and I will go pick up when it's convenient for me. For free.
Hopefully this helps others out there who can ask for the same?

a) Four swings plus a see-saw looks like http://www.actionsports.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_d...
b) Three swings plus a slide would be http://www.actionsports.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_d...
I just called Chatswood, they said you have to pay $55 for delivery.. and then a woman in the background said that there are none in the warehouse (I think they might have been oz-bargained, and they were quite annoyed). So the guy just told me that there are none. So, pretty much can't order one and have it delivered to the store and then pick it up free. I mean the pamphlet even says "delivery charges apply". Just to note I called Macquarie Myer right before Chatswood and they told me the same thing on paying $55 delivery, and then I asked about stock levels.. she said in the warehouse they had 46 x 4 swing and 49 x 3 swing. But then 2 mins later Chatswood say they have none…??

Paid with the Myer gift cards that I get as I use Myer Visa Card a lot. So practically for free. Awesome deal!!
Only 10 of Blue n 21 of Green left in Melbourne. I've posted the links to actual sets in my last post.

Austin 316 on 08/06/2012 - 11:18 ¶Haha…. damn. why did i say footscray??? i guess, since i was getting off at footscray station and taking the bus to highpoint. And i was really busy with something else when I posted the address….. fail at multitasking :o

meanozbgnr on 08/06/2012 - 14:34 ¶thanks OP, ordered one of each today at myer, werribee plaza, around 9 a.m. there were 7 of 1 type and 14 of another in Altona warehouse.

I picked one of these up at Big W at Macquarie Center, it was the only one there but if people missed out at Myer, maybe try Big W. I would suggest it would need to be in store as they probably share a warehouse (I have no idea if they actually do though). Price was even cheaper being $30.01 for the 4 swinging thing one and no I have no idea why they didnt make it $30 rather than $30.01
mihirengineer on 15/06/2012 - 11:04 ¶Picked both of my swing sets yesterday from Myer Highpoint.. All good!!
