Been looking for the canon 600d twin lens kit and cheapest I have found it anywhere is for $993 at JB Hi-Fi.

Found it on the George's website for $879 for pickup or $15 for delivery to Melbourne.

I wanted stock over the weekend and so tried to get it price matched. I must have tried about 8 different stores including Harvey Norman,JB, Good Guys,Teds and no one could get close to the price. Eventually got a local JB to price match (even though first one I went to couldn't match).

I know people have their opinions on cameras however if your in the market it's a great deal IMHO.

Is the 18-55 the IS or non-IS lens??
In any case, the 600D will get cheaper everywhere over the coming weeks.

IS lens.
It'll be interesting to see how much prices will drop as well as availability. That was the other issue I found whilst searching for the camera - lack if stock.

  Wow, the price at DWI sure went up…I have some friends who bought the TLK 600D from there about a month ago, they paid $754 shipped!

If you are after a 600D plus a canon 18-200mm lens, JB in Melbourne CBD can do a best price of $1050AUD and that's $90AUD cheaper than DWI. One of my colleagues just bought one last Thursday.
