I think this is the cheapest price on OZ. 12 Mth OZ Warranty.
I called OW and they beat it… comes up with $379.95.

OW stands for Office Works and is a popular comparison here, due to their price matching policy.
they will generally match any advertised price and then take a further 5% off.
here is a link to their site www.officeworks.com.au

I had bought/used many Android Tablets.
Optus My Tab
Toshiba Thrive 10
Motorola Xoomand now
Galaxy Tab 7.7
It is the single best Android Tablet that I've used. The screen is beautiful, the size and weight is perfect, and packs enough grunt to do almost everything I can throw at.
Get it if you can afford it. You won't regret the purchase.
I wish I had just bought this in the first place instead. Otherwise I would have save good deal of money instead of buying and selling the tablets.
lamerthanlam on 15/06/2012 - 14:19 ¶Yes. The tab 7.7 has the best screen right now and the processor should be at the very least on par with the quadcore tegra 3 (the graphics anyway). I would purchase this but my finances are currently invested elsewhere.

It is better but it costs more (that's comparing discounted prices). The CPU/GPU is better. The ability to do a screenshot easily is a nice touch.
However, the 7 inch Toshiba was about $201 (after OW price match) a few weeks back. Acer A500 (10 inch) 32GB was $299 about 10 months ago. That said, when you put Galaxy Tab 7.7 right next to the Toshiba 7 inch IPS tablet, there is no doubt the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a better screen (colours/contrast/overall).
But… iPad 2 (16GB though) is around $399 (discounted price).

Optus My Tab has 3G, making it hard to pick a tablet that beats it in every aspect at that price. But if you don't need 3G, you can get a cheapo tablet for $95, running Ice Cream Sandwich, have 'capacitive' touch screen, multi-touch, play 1080p mkvs smoothly, 8GB memory built in.

Yes and no. The width is fine without having to scroll left and right if it is rotated to browse net in landscape but keep on scrolling up and down is sometimes quite annoying. You get the portability that a 10" doesn't give you and that is why it is for on the go. Depends on how do you use it but it is unusual Samsung Australia does not carry the 3G model if it is marketing those on the go customers. The deal is over anyway, I hope I made the right decision buying one with the 10% off voucher and those my friends regret for not taking the benefits of 10% off by joining my orders.
IHATEHIPSTERS on 17/06/2012 - 12:12 ¶Hey guys i got one in febuary for 470$ in feb so this price is really good. But i gotta say im a bit dissapointed with the battery life. I get around 5 hours of web browsing which really sucks. It also can lag at times but hopefully ICS will fix this. Anyways heres a vid i did of the battery life
IHATEHIPSTERS on 17/06/2012 - 16:49 ¶I actually got a really good one from ebay, it was part of a bundle for 18 bucks, it came with, car charger, touch pen, usb cable, 2 screen protectors and the leather case with stand. Its a pretty good case seems pretty solid
IHATEHIPSTERS on 18/06/2012 - 02:05 ¶The deal has expired a long time ago sorry but you should be able to find a good case
