expired Asus ML239H Designer IPS Monitor $199 Free Delivery! Only @ NetPlus!

Want a designer top end screen on your desk? Get the Asus ML239H IPS screen for just $199 delivered anywhere in Australia!
Unlike all those boring looking monitors, this is a great looking screen even when it is switched off! But turn it on and you will understand that IPS (In Plane Switching) has a huge advantage over all the screens you have seen before. The viewing angle is so much better. The screen is just sharper, and colours are real-life like.

+1 voteDoh, yeah ML239 vs VS239.
http://gadgetprofile.com/comparison/asus-ml239h-asus-vs239h/...
Shows ML is 5ms versus the 14ms on the other, so ML is the winner hands down.
Hmm does this model have any cash back like the other one?

It's worth noting it is only a 6 bit IPS panel. In depth review here http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus_ml239h.htm
Also as it is LED back lighting this article on PWM headaches is worth considering. http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/pulse_width_modulation....
+2 votes"Designer"!? Don't tease us. Which one?
No darling, let me guess … looks like the work of Carla Zampatti? Are we stuck with prêt-à-porter, or will they make one to measure? 1080p is soooo common.
IPS is nice but who gives a flying fornication about viewing angle on a computer monitor? Does anyone ever need to look at one side-on? I'm happy to sit in front.
+2 votesViewing angle is a constant issue for me and designers I know.
On my monitor the image alters very slightly with small changes in eyeball positioning.
I'm constantly wondering about the accuracy of what I look at compared to what will be published online or in print.
Sometimes I use my monitor to watch movies, and have to perfectly align it with my couch height or the image is exceeding dark.
My friend just got one of the Dell IPS monitors that come in around $300.. and it's brilliant.. in terms of the colours and continuity of the image.
But yeah, I see your point.. and for most people it might not matter.
+1 voteThis.
I have a Dell TN monitor and I HATE that the colour shifts slightly when I do little movements like sitting a little more upright.
No you may not need 178 degrees of viewing angle but it sure as hell makes a big difference compared to having the screen change colour all together when you wiggle a little in your chair.
It's like people who say "Why get 1080p on a 32" TV when you can't even tell the difference from a distance?" It's like they've never heard of other uses for a TV than watching free-to-air.
