    512mb ram? Be wary of this. 1gb ram is definitely preferable.

      That's actually ARM Cortex A8 (single core CPU) + Mali GPU.
      Hence they call it Many Core A10.. LOL
      But for this price level..it's still okay IMO.. =)
      And among Chinese Tablets, Ainol has good reputation and good support from community.

    800x480 resolution is barely acceptable on a phone any more, why put up with it on a tablet?

      How is it 'barely acceptable'? Current Windows Phones only have that resolution and they still manage to look pretty sharp.

      I would say 480 x 800 would look fine on just about any phone that is no larger than a 4.3" screen. Any larger and you start to see individual pixels.
