expired 32" DSE LED LCD Full HD TV for $298 at Dick Smith (in Store and Online)

This was posted 11 months 28 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal

Just went into Dick Smith (Pakenham) to buy the 32" Sony Bravia listed here earlier when I came across this. Not the best brand, but $298 for a Full HD LED is good in my books. Can't find the item online, but Pakenham had a few in stock so you might get lucky at your local store.

unless your using this for a monitor.. then you shouldve stuck with sony
full hd doesnt mean much to a 32inch tv

    •

Even so, LED > LCD which the Sony was.

If it breaks in a year you go and buy a 50" for $300 by then.

The picture quality is not that good, imo.

Taking photos of a screen never is…

I'm watching District 9 (Blu-ray) on it at the moment and while it is nowhere near as good as my Samsung LCD, that was $1100 6 months ago. For $300 it's decent.

I've had mine for about 9 months or so and it's still going strong. Sure it's no Sony but this definitely is great value.

LED, so what? Personally, I'd much prefer the Sony LCD rather than this generic LED. Also, I don't want the name "dick" on my tv!

Totally agree. Even with LED it only pushes a measly 6000:1 contrast ratio. Bet you any Sony LCD will still have more.
