martin_henry on 02/07/2012 - 16:34 ¶Depends how much service you use. If you will use all the service of a $55 plan then go for it. If you're a very light user (though that would be hard with a top-of-the-line smartphone) then probably better to buy outright and get a light plan eg $25 or $29.
nanoronline on 02/07/2012 - 21:05 ¶If buying outright is too much for you, then the most you be under contract is 12 months from Vodafone, if you intend to use Vodafone. If not, outright!
nanoronline on 02/07/2012 - 16:19 ¶It's not that important at all if you stay in CBD areas. Optus has been having network congestion issues.
martin_henry on 02/07/2012 - 16:36 ¶I've been on CJ's around Sydney for the last 2 years and no complaints about data (other than it being limited haha). Used it via phone and by tethering.
nanoronline on 02/07/2012 - 21:03 ¶Vodafone is alright. Just Optus that is having flaky data and dropped calls in CBD areas because of its network congestion issue. It has been so since beginning of last year but it is not as blown up as what caused the class action lawsuit again Vodafone…yet.
