Just got an email. No idea when this ends. You can now get Black Books again for about $12 AUD. Lots of other cheap stuff. I got a few $5 cd's.

    Whats the GBP to AUD exchange rate? Looking at Skylanders figures that's GBP $19.95, how much equivalent AUD is it?

      I was a first timer too. Took me exactly 20 days to get mine. If its been more than 20 days, you could always dispute the transaction through PayPal or thehut.com if you purchased using credit card :)

    Anyone in the logistics industry want to comment on why companies outside Australia (developed) can afford to ship items at such low postage rates halfway across the globe, and we pay ten times to send a parcel to our neighbour?

      I remember reading somewhere that the UK government subsidise postage costs, I'm sure there are other factors and I could get more info however I am lazy.

      Under the agreements with other post companies, no money exchanges hands. So if you pay for postage from UK to Australia by Royal Mail, AP has to deal with and deliver the package once the package arrives in Australia and they wont get any money for it.

      So they need to recover that through higher prices of postage. I wouldn't be surprised if we get more stuff delivered then that is posted form Au.

      Not all the reasons (cost of staff, petrol etc all are a factor) but one major one.

        Surely that is the same the other way though? When an Englishman or American buys something from Australia, neither Royal Mail nor USPS would get anything but would still have to deliver/handle it. But Royal Mail and USPS still have lower fees than we do.

        Actually Australia Post does get money for the parcels. They are called terminal dues. However because of the high Australian dollar at the moment, the payment does not fully cover the delivery.

        "In the financial years 2010-2012, Australia Post estimates that it will make a loss of A$1.06 per inbound international airmail packet (parcels less than 2 kilograms) on a volume of approximately 39.7 million articles."

    I wont buy from here again, first I got 3 shirts that were all the wrong colours. Then a XXL hoody that was a small then a XXL hoody that turned out just to be L and instead of red it was pink. 3/3 orders all sucked and they tell me to send them back, its about $25 shipping per package and it states I'm not allowed to ship them together, I have to ship them individually with the return order numbers on the packages.

    I ordered jackets from them recently. They ran out of one of the ones I ordered and sent me a completely different jacket, hoping I wouldn't notice. I'm still waiting for the refund!

      They takes ages to reply to email so if you paid by paypal open a dispute it is heaps quicker.

    Though the stuff is cheap but usually they don't have it in stock even if it shows available on the product page. if you are prepared to be disappointed then do shop there. It has happened twice to me and definitely not going back again.

    Dasher22 is absolutely right - I spent a long time on their website to find stuff and ordered it. Days later they informed me that they simply ran out of stock and cancelled my order again. Not worth your effort.

    Had no problem with the five items I ordered from them the last time. L three-pack Jerzees shirts were a bit large but nothing else.

    If the item you got was different from what you ordered (size included), then I would think that's grounds for an enquiry/Paypal dispute.

    Never had wrong items. Had a dispatch-limbo item (refund), missing-post item (sent replacement). Overall service was okay for me.

    They are hit and miss.
    I ordered five items of clothing and all arrived as ordered in just over 2 weeks and I was very happy with the product for the price I paid.
    My girlfriend ordered a couple of things on a separate order and after 4 weeks, it's still nowhere to be seen.
    My brother ordered a few stuff on the same day I ordered mine and his orders were cancelled a few days later without any explanation.
    They are very cheap when it works out but it appears that they are not very reliable.

    Ordered and got cancelled 3 times straight. The fourth time my order went through. Guess what? I've been waiting for more than 34 days now. This website is completely bullshit.
