Pity that for a high spec'd phone released in 2012, it only records VGA!?!?!?! WTF? I dont get that. Its a decent phone for the price, but the VGA recording really kills it for me.

Any reason to unlock, as no 850 3G support anyway? Should work with optus resellers networks.

Just some may not want chinese brand and bigger screen that the reason I post this deal.

        :)

I cannot understand why they made it VGA only video. Even my Acer liquid metal can do 720p video.

LG Optimus L7 - first gen Snapdragon CPU, just like Huawei Ascend G300. Either both phones use the standard design provided by Qualcomm or the price of flash ROM dropped. Might as well get Huawei G300. If you want to get a cheap low end phone, might as well get the cheapest of that particular spec. Though, this one comes with ICS. I wondered whether it has the same poor /app mount point decision Huawei made (most likely not, since it is ICS - can't really tell though).

Acer Liquid Metal - second gen Snapdragon CPU. The $128 phone was definetely a bargain last year (still good value for money by today's standard).

I think this is a pretty decent lower end main stream phone at this price
