And if I'm not mistaken 1 Year warranty on them?

    •

i think its only 3 months, but nintendo consoles rarely break down :)

I remember the days of the Nintendo 64, where if you blew on the game cartridge, it'd magically work again :D

That's the equivalent of not putting your discs back in their case apparently, though I did the same with my old Nintendo consoles

Are you kidding? The hinges on DSes are known to fail fairly frequently.

but even when the hinges break, they still work :)

The main thing you have to watch out for is the fuses blowing out, thus you can no longer charge your console. Somewhat simple fix (can by pass the fuse or solder a new fuse), another things is the trigger buttons breaking which is also somewhat simple to fix.

But with proper care of the console most of them will never have problems.

Has anyone bought anything preowned off the EB website before? Wouldn't it be risky being unable to examine the condition first? A friendbought some prowned games online during the game sale. I soon followed and I was lucky that time but I dont know about eB.

its probably better to go in store if you want to buy a pre-owned console, but i've been happy with the pre-owned items I've bought online

Ugh, preowned? Please put 'pre-owned' first in the title, please.
I thought they were new for a second.

    Not that cheap for preowned.

Good Deal, but i'd rather shop for one on Gumtree. The preowned consoles ive checked out at EB Games in the past have been mostly trashes/ covered in Dora the Explorer stickers. :\
