This was posted 10 months 4 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Was browsing through the play store and came across this! About time we had another free android game. Usually $0.99 IIRC.
Enjoy!

Hey heres a question I don't have an Andriod device [I'll update my Touchpad some day I swear] can I 'purchase' this for later use? It seems to tell me I don't have a registered device - is that a requirement or am I doing it wrong?.
Not trying to troll but at least with itunes I'm able to collect free apps for my as yet non existent iPad [yes I'm a digital hoarder].
+3 votesUnfortunately, Google has decided that we mere mortals cannot be trusted to buy apps that aren't marked as compatible with at least one device we currently own. Never mind that:
1) The developer/publisher is the one who says which devices are OK, and this is absolutely no guarantee that the app will or won't work on a particular device; most of the guys who use this part of Play just shotgun the big-name devices that "should" work, to try to minimise negative reviews.
2) It is laughably easy, once you have rooted your Android device (also usually pretty simple), to have it pose as another device. For example, the Play store treats the SmartQ Q8 Chinatab that I'm typing this on as if it were a Samsung Galaxy S2, just because that's what the device name string says it is.TL;DR - No, you can't buy apps without a compatible Android device, even though the apps are tied to your account, and not the device.
dvsbastard on 21/07/2012 - 15:51 ¶I wouldn't worry too much as it will remain permanently free (at least under the current system where once an app is made free, it is not possible to revert to a paid app).
+1 voteI've been running it on Win 7 x64 Ultimate no problems. I wonder if it's a firewall or virus checker thing? I'm using Avast and only Windows firewall at present.
If that fails there is another Android emulator from Intel. It's a long shot but it might work for those with no Android device, afterall bluestacks is just a tweaked emulator image as far as I can tell. Try http://software.intel.com/en-us/android/ and there are system images for Gingerbread and ICS. You would probably have to search for and install an appropriate gapps package to get the market, but I don't know what "device" it would register as. Bluestacks registered itself as some Samsung device in the market from memory.
Edit: After a google for "android emulator market" there are heaps of results. Try following the discussion here; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1149807

+2 votesshadowfax1007 on 21/07/2012 - 14:22 ¶Just so people know, the game itself is now Free-To-Play, its not a one off special.
Apparently the game is going to work off the whole "buy items > make money" scheme
highon2str on 21/07/2012 - 14:32 ¶Finally had a few mins to play it on my galaxy note. Pretty good control layout. Remember to crank up your graphics settings! - mine was setup on 'low' and i upped it to 'high' without many issues.

justtoreply on 25/07/2012 - 08:54 ¶Nah, heaps of ppl bitching about their 99c lol. Nobody got their money back. Read the 1 star comments on google play. Amazing how many people are peeved (it wasn't good of the developer to do it, but 99c isn't the end of the world!)
