reading through slatedroid, seems like it has random reboot issue (especially V1)anyone got such issue?
+1 votegreat price and i love the 4 that i have (only one for me setting up three others for family). They are fast dual core tablets with nice screens and good build quality for price.
Cons
Wifi is a major issue, they have missed a key piece of the wifi anttenna which can be fixed by pulling screen out of case and adding a 30mm x 25mm peiece of foil to arial in unit. This is fairly easy to do, have done it to 4 units myself and fixes issue, its not a software fault so I would only buy if you are very close to router or are happy to do mod. On a modding level it is very basic and does not require solder. Just an old credit card, sticky tape and aluminium foil. Some people have broken screens from incorrect opening technique so be careful.
Some touch screen issues (i would like to use stylus but not sure if this will be possible, sorry havnt got one to test).

Got some extra discount with the "fb2012fiver" coupon, picked up the stand/car charger pack ($5…. why not?) and upgraded to the M2 headphones as they are on Headphonics recommended list (+$29, for a $75 pair of headphones).
I've read about a few issues with these things, but it looks like you can go the hack and sort most of them out.

So I drove an hour and a half hours to pick it up from the depot … and the screen is scratched. I am so pissed off right now. Oh and thats after I spent half on hour yesterday waiting to taalk to some one from fasttrack only to be transferred to Australian Air express and waiting another half an hour.

Silly question….and im only trying to help…. it does have a screen protector on it from factory….is that whats scratched and have you tried taking it off? or is it a deep scratch in the screen?

No It doesnt. That's what I thought to start with. They are light scratches I can only see in reasonable light, almost like some ones take sand fine paper to it. Maybe im being to pedantic ?

+1 voteI had the same, screen looked scratched and looked like sand paper was used on it. I didn't see any protector then i looked carefully and start to pick at the side, there was a protector, i removed it and the screen was fine. It took me about 5 minutes of picking before i could get enough of the protector off before i could peel it away.
Check your screen carefully, your description is exactly like how my screen was and there was a protector.
