Liquid Image HD Snow Goggles $89, Free Shipping, Normally $400+

You'll find this Liquid Image Video goggles in Aussie stores for very high prices, in some places $400+, and we've been blasting them out at $149 + P&H.
We recently dropped the shipping charge, so they are now $149, free shipping.
But WAIT, there's more! To celebrate the fact that I'm awesome and feedback from my last post was ludicrously hard but surprisingly fair, I'm adding a coupon code for $60 to put against our already pretty awesome price. Code: LIQUID Works with both 720p and 1080p model, works once per order. Create multiple orders if you want multiple goggles.
This takes the price to $89 delivered. Yikes.
Its available on our outdoor clearance sale which has some other good bargains, like the Coleman 6 person tent for $59.95 + shipping.

+1 votecornucopia on 03/08/2012 - 10:19 ¶I suppose you're going to gaffer tape your phone to your goggles. I'd like to see that!!
+1 voteTrance N Dance on 02/08/2012 - 22:31 ¶I wonder how these would fare with paintballing and getting shot at..
RandomNinja on 03/08/2012 - 08:51 ¶Man, I had the same thought!
Edit: Bah, just googled and they're not rated for Paintball or Airsoft =[
mister_snrub on 08/08/2012 - 22:27 ¶Hey. Could you tell us more about the cheap Contour Plus and where to find them?
I'd certainly be interested.
theguyrules on 03/08/2012 - 10:42 ¶I was there a month ago, and looked at the GoPro cameras but they were so expensive.
If only this popped up before I left :(
mrhorseham on 02/08/2012 - 22:48 ¶Really good price, would be interested to know the quality of these compared to contour and go pro.

I already have one of these, bought in Feb for a trip to Colorado. I had a helmet mounted cam before these. Biggest advantage of these is that wahtever you are looking at is what you are filmong. With my previous cam I never quite knew exactly what it was looking at and sometimes I would have an hour of my ski boots or 20 mins of the sky etc.
Quality is good and they are pretty good goggles as well, at least as good as my Oakley and Spy Goggles.
dnnnnnnnnng on 02/08/2012 - 23:59 ¶Unless you mean northern hemisphere snow I wouldn't be holding my breath if I were you… IIRC the last thing I got from COTD took 9 weeks to turn up.

+2 votesc4ppuc1nn0 on 03/08/2012 - 00:21 ¶Pretty happy with my recent deals with COTD, bought several items last week and last month, each delivered within three days after purchasing.

terencelevin on 03/08/2012 - 06:34 ¶QQQ that is an awesome deal for someone who skis. How about a great deal on something a bit more universal like something from the technothon.
+1 votecornucopia on 03/08/2012 - 08:03 ¶Got it. Best 'Catch' ever!! My skiing will be immortalised….
alwayseric on 03/08/2012 - 09:28 ¶the problem is still about the shipping!!!! i have to receive it by the end of next friday. is it really possible? otherwise, i will definitely order one, although i just received my contour roam.
+1 vote"The Summit Series Goggles can be converted to a MX Goggle by changing the lense, nose guard, and strap for Xtreme Sport Action during the summer."
I took that as these being convertible to those, although I cant see where the nose guard is listed separately on the site.
+1 voteadministrator on 03/08/2012 - 10:14 ¶Just bought one and I haven't been snowboarding for years. I hate this forum ;-)

administrator on 03/08/2012 - 10:36 ¶Don't say that, I might come back and buy another pair.
Just thought, I hope they are snow-proof. I have been known to fall over in the powder on occasion (usually every few minutes).
alwayseric on 03/08/2012 - 10:51 ¶definitely!! they are clearing stock. just wish they can dispatch the stock quickly enough.

Bought a pair, rushing in like a typical ozbargainer…. I leave for slopes on 24th of aug. and needed goggles anyway so thought these would be good. just wondering if they come with any sd card or should i be on ebay buying one now… and also, is a 2nd battery worth investing in.. anyone who already has these help??
+1 voteThey come with a 4GB micro SD card, so i highly recommending a 16GB or 32GB card. Also, battery life varies from how much you're taking pictures/videos. If you turn it off after each video on the chairlift, you will get a lot more life out of it. They state that it lasts 1.5-2.5 hours, i had mine last about 5-6. That said, better to be safe imo with getting a second battery, especially as they don't take long to charge! :)

to be fair 1.5hrs of me face down in the snow is more than enough entertainment, but i am also very forgetful of turning things off and would hate to miss the one good run i actually get out of the weekend…
looks like ebay is getting hit up for an SD card, they always come in handy to have i suppose!

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Battery-Liquid-Image-Summit-335-3... for US$20. There's the official Australian retailer too: http://www.activeoutthere.com.au/product_info.php/products_i... (although not sure of their prices.
alwayseric on 03/08/2012 - 12:18 ¶if it does nt take long to charge, maybe i can have lunch in the car and turn the engine on to charge it for the afternoon use?
+1 voteAs an Ozbargainer, get a iPod/iphone wall to USB charger (most people have them). Go have a sandwich (that you brought yourself since mountain food is expensive!!) and plug in your goggles (via your USB cable). That way you save money (petrol) and if you bring your own lunch, you've saved $50!
administrator on 03/08/2012 - 13:46 ¶Surely all you need is a hat/helmet with solar panels on to trickle-charge it.

Hi EvilTeddy - quick question, which microSD card did you buy? Just bought the $89 goggles and about to buy a microSD card but unsure about compatibility / write speeds - Would a sandisk microsd 32gb class 4 be sufficient, or do I need an ultra class 6 or class 10? Sorry not very familiar with microsd cards haha

I completely disagree :) https://www.activeoutthere.com.au/images/zoom_1337231131_103...
tuanxiu1983 on 03/08/2012 - 14:20 ¶To remote, if they can't refund you the different, simply ask for return. You then buy 2 today with cheaper price. You will save $120 less any fee that COTD charge you for change of mind. Good luck, but they should refund you the different as it's not good for their business. No one will rush to buy things from them now if they know that there is a chance it will be much cheaper not much later (few days).
administrator on 03/08/2012 - 16:22 ¶Well taht makes me feel a bit better. At least I didn't buy the tent too ;-)

infinity89 on 05/08/2012 - 23:26 ¶Thanks. Don't know when i'll be on the snow again, but i know what i'll be using now :P

Had to dig around a bit on COTD but the new link is http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_.... Have updated the deal and removed expiry.
