quiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 11:20 ¶Forgot to tick it visible in the backend, should be up now thanks.
quiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 11:50 ¶One person bought 26 pairs of pillows on that deal and exhausted our stock very quickly so we had to have a couple hundred more manufactured and delivered. Sorry for making you wait.
+1 votequiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 12:13 ¶It's an upgrade for spring and other style mattresses. Since the memory foam moulds to your bodies shape it allows you to rest with added support which springs just can't provide.
Todes Angst on 09/08/2012 - 12:19 ¶I bought a memory foam topper for my bed a few months ago (not from this seller though)and all I can say is it is the best money I have every spent. I cannot recommend these things enough and this price is an absolute bargain compared to what you'll pay elsewhere. If you are at all unhappy with your nights sleep you currently get in your bed then get one of these things. For such a small outlay the benefit is enormous. You will not be disappointed.
quiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 12:30 ¶Hmm, did you try paying with CC or Paypal? You can always select bank deposit as well, I'll look into the store logs and see what it says.
+1 votequiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 12:36 ¶Sorry, Amex isn't accepted via eway — you may be able to use it over paypal though (not positive.)

quiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 12:38 ¶You'd have to use a fitted sheet or a mattress protector, these are not included though.
quiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 13:49 ¶A 100% cotton mattress protector will help cool it down a bit. We're also going to be getting some cool gel mats for summer soon, these are really awesome. Correct about the electric blanket, don't get it too hot.
quiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 13:46 ¶The first (main) photo shows the bare topper on a mattress, in the last photo (with the girl) there is a mattress cover but this is not included. The email should be relatively instant after PayPal communicates with the cart system and your order clears, sometimes this is longer if you're transferring from a bank account for instance. If you PM us we can resend the receipt if you need.
quiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 14:23 ¶~250 TC — It's not written on the packaging but this is our estimate based on similar quilt covers.
quiltsdirect on 09/08/2012 - 14:00 ¶Updated the listings, thanks.
Material: Polycotton (70% Cotton / 30% Polyester)

quiltsdirect on 10/08/2012 - 10:10 ¶Hey Blud
We are here today from 10-5.30 otherwise monday to Friday at those times

Depending on how hard your mattress is now I honestly wouldn't do the double up thing unless its rock hard.
Otherwise it will end up being like lying on a big banana (I guess lol). It would sag in the middle and you may get a bad back from it.
What I'm doing with ours is using them on the cheap Ikea foam mattresses. Proper memory foam mattresses are built like that anyway - a thick layer of normal rock hard cheap foam, then the memory foam layer(s) glued on top. These toppers plus the Ikea mattresses should emulate that setup perfectly, for a fraction of the cost.
quiltsdirect on 10/08/2012 - 10:12 ¶Hi Wm,
We think that our thickness is enough to give support if you already have a decent mattress that does not sag.
if your mattress is in bad shape you may need 2 , you can always come back
FreckleNuts on 15/08/2012 - 10:44 ¶Mine arrived today, and all's good.
Web site is a little quiet on supplier details (which i never like), so here's that info:
Luxury Quilts Pty Ltd, PO Box 2397, Mt Waverley, Vic, 3149. (03) 9523 7223.
Factory seems to be at: Unit 8 / 26 Christensen Street, Cheltenham, Vic, 3192.These guys source a lot of product from Dunlop Foams, so they're legit, and their pricing is excellent for a quality product. They obviously work on volume to make a living, so even though i've chosen to provide contact details, let's not be hassling them - online would undoubtedly be best for them so use email if you can.
http://www.quiltsdirect.com.au/pages/Contact-Us-.html
Got mine too.
I have a previous topper pad which was a custom order a few years ago and it's supposed to be Dunlop viscoflex too. But there is a big difference between that and these new toppers.
The old one is much softer and also denser. The new ones you can see air bubbles in the foam, whereas the old one is totally consistent texture.
I'm not sure if there are different grades of Dunlop viscoflex, but these ones on offer here are definitely inferior quality to my other one. But having said that these are still great toppers for the price.
+1 voteFreckleNuts on 15/08/2012 - 12:35 ¶The product grade is LR38-40, and they were upfront about this when i asked above.
They come in various grades: http://www.dunlopfoams.com.au/products/get-filtered-products...
So this is the base grade: the first figure denotes density, while the second figure denotes hardness.
So yeah, not the best of the Dunlop, but the better stuff costs serious $ as indicated here for some 52-60:
http://www.clarkrubber.com.au/viscoflex-memory-foam-mattress...Decent foam is expensive: the denser it is, the more expensive it is.

Thanks yeah I should say my earlier topper pad was over twice the price of these, but nowhere near twice as good. Great bang for buck on this deal for sure.
And these new toppers work a treat in the Ikea matresses I have, just unzip the Ikea matress cover and put the topper inside.
+1 voteFreckleNuts on 15/08/2012 - 12:52 ¶Hey OP, how about posting a deal for some of the higher density foam, say the 52-60?
Whatever bulk deal arrangements you've struck with Dunlop Foams, i imagine you can price it competitively.

Its hard to explain. In my limited experience (have about 10 different MF pillows, 3 different MF mattresses including a tempur, and 3 different MF toppers now), less-dense usually means softer, but you will just sink right through it and be left pressing on whatever is under the soft MF, so the soft MF is useless by itself. This is why the Tempurs have up to 3 different layers of ever softer MF.
But some heavy memory foams are actually still quite soft, but some are actually quite hard. The reverse is not true though. If the foam is light it will also be soft, its usually not going to be any good just by itself. If the foam is heavy, then you know you're onto a good thing because you can always put a softer (cheaper) layer on top if you need to.
These foams on offer here I'd class as mid range (even though its bottom of the viscoflex range, there are a lot of really light crappy MFs out there), these ones here are excellent value for money.
30mm is fine for my application. But it depends what you are putting it on. I wouldn't go any less than 30mm unless you were already putting it over a denser MF. You also can go too thick, because you really need a firmer layer underneath. If you put 100mm of MF on, your arse would eventually sink right through it during the night, which would be bad. I reckon 60mm of this stuff is the most you should put on top of a firm mattress, less for softer mattresses.

Thanks Stumo. I dont think that i like my MF too thick or too hard. To thisk and you get that sinking feeling which i hate. main reason i get firm or extra firm mattresses.
I have this MF pillow from OMF and its pretty hard. On the other hand the dunloap medium therapillo is just perfect for me. SO im guessing the matress topper may just be within my comfort zone. and 30mm means not too much of it.

received mine. well… my bad, didn't realise it is only 3cm thick.
Wonder who actually will buy at full price.
And the memory foam quality itself is not as good as i expected. I bought a few years ago from oo.com.au for $90 (single) and it is 6cm thick, and comes with a cover plus packaging (carry bag).
This one does not have the cover and comes rolled in a plastic bag.
Oh well… i thought I bought a deal ;(
