Hmmm... Technical freebie to run 14 km
https://www.airtasker.com/tasks/run-promo-at-city2surf
Airtasker is offering $10 for people to run with their branded shirt on - technically saving you $75 for late registration and making you $10 richer. But it would be more work than I've ever done in my life and I've just been self-diagnosed with moderate laziness.
I assume they'd have to transfer registration in your name so you'd get formal recognition when you win the race…

As an aside, I'm so happy I normally ride a bike because I just caught a one-off bus in Sydney on the weekend and whoaaa - one day of travel would dwarf the average saving acquired on an OzBargain deal :)

"Technically"… just need to
Also for desk-bound lazy bum like me who would have great difficulty completing #3. It would not give your company a good image while someone wearing your shirt had a heart attack in the middle of the run (although that might get them some TV coverage).
But I guess if you are going to partake on City2Surf anyway, then why not…
