the deal reads Only 50 units. Good Tablet for the price, even better deal if you can get the Powerbuy $70 Cashback. http://www.powerbuy.com.au/lenovo-thinkpad-tablet/
Unfortunately i am unable to put the correct link in as i get: This deal might have already been previously posted here ($249+Shipping THINKPAD Tablet 16G Wi-Fi 10.1ips Nvidia Tegra2 Dual Core ONE Hour ONLY 22-Jul-12). even when the date is different Sorry.
Deals Direct 30% off might be another option.

$259.95 incl. Post
Take the powerbuy cashback off and its $189.95So roughly the same price, plus or minus a few dollars postage.. but you can get it now!!

I wonder if those bought this tablet from Centrecom deal $399 for 2 can claim cashback from Powerbuy or not? I don't see why they can't but it seems that everyone missed out coz no one mentioned about the cashback in that post.
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/73687Maybe they were overjoyed with their $200 tablet and missed out the extra $70 cash back.

Good for this Monday at the sparrow fart apparently.
+1 voteI Bought the lenovo from Dealsdirect about two weeks ago 30% off. And Submitted the Powerbuy cash-back a few day later. The cash back was approved within a few days and i am waiting on payment. I chose the Cheque option so payment will take longer. You have the option of having it payed directly into your bank account. I know this doesn't answer your question RE Shoppingexpress, But i don't see there being a problem claiming the cash-back with Shoppingexpress. Just my opinion.
+1 voteGot one from the deals direct sale the other weekend. I missed out on the centrecom deal so made sure to register for the cashback before buying around 30 minutes later. Got the email a couple confirmation a couple of days later and the money in my account a few days after that.
CH33ZEBURG3R on 10/08/2012 - 18:30 ¶Got one in the last deal for $190 delivered after cashback, I'm happy with it, I thought it was going to be thicker than it actually is after reading some comments but it's pretty slim, I can't complain for a Tablet under $200 bucks.
CH33ZEBURG3R on 10/08/2012 - 18:32 ¶@gagans, I'm still waiting for the $70 cashback from Powerbuys.

THIS PRODUCT HAS POWER BUTTON PROBLEM, JUST BE VERY CAREFUL!!!

CH33ZEBURG3R on 11/08/2012 - 10:42 ¶No power button problems for me, everything seems fine, every gadget has problems, (iphone 4 Antenna for one) i'm very happy with mine.
@arsenal1 about 3 weeks?
assailantsky on 12/08/2012 - 20:28 ¶I just did that, ie bought at $319. If they don't honour the price, I've got the screen shots handy if they want to play. But seriously, I thought the price would change at some stage of the checkout process, but it didn't…I paid with CC via Paypal just in case.
+1 voteI wouldn't do that, I'm not trusting them with any of my money, because legally, they're allowed to honour it at 319, because you legally entered a contract with them, abiding by the terms and conditions at the time of the sale.
They probably set the server to alter the prices at the wrong time or something, so if "Epic Hour" is miraculously at 3am in the morning, you'll know why….

Also just then the Lenovo Tablet on DealsDirect went out of stock, which means it probably won't be in stock at 6am tomorrow either… http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/lenovo-thinkpad-10-1-16gb-bt...
ARRGGGGGHHHH!!! ><
It's like these companies don't want our money :'(
+1 voteGreenGuava on 12/08/2012 - 20:36 ¶What's the bet that it'll 'miraculously' come back into stock after the 30% sale finishes tomorrow…
+1 voteGreenGuava on 12/08/2012 - 20:46 ¶Alright, I'm calling this a dud deal.
Epic Hour? More like Epic Fail on Shopping Express's part…

0ptus_Fail on 12/08/2012 - 22:20 ¶As expected! Just like the LAST epic FAIL SALE!
This company is on the same level as MEGABUY.
+1 voteWhat an effing disgrace!!!
Why do they bother sending emails for phoney deals?
Unless they honour this price - I'll go out of my way to neg them every time they try this scummy false advertising.
I'll be replyimg to their BS email about this - and tell them to shove their
future timewasting crap back where it belongs (where the sun don't shine)

-1 voteShoppingExpress on 14/08/2012 - 12:28 ¶We are planning on the next sale for tablet, but no definite date yet. You can find out through ozbargain when someone (including myself) post here, or from our newsletter annoucement.
For the epic hour, we set a wrong time on the promotion…

The compensation of free shipping only applies when you are buying a new item or Lenovo tablet at the original price which is $319 from them. I rang them up specifically ask for it and that's answer I've got. If you were lucky enough to complain yesterday, they were still honour the EPIC HOUR price, but plus shipping charge. It's all sold out anyway!

After sending them an email expressing my disappointment with the Epic Hour fail, I got a reply saying they will honour the price for me. So I placed my order and they manually adjusted it to $249 price. Pretty happy as I did not expect that, thanks SE. I am a registered user of SE so not sure if that made a difference. Now to submit my Powerbuys cashback….
-1 voteGreenGuava on 17/08/2012 - 00:34 ¶Having read into the Lenovo TPT a little bit, it doesn't seem like such a great unit anymore given the reports of the dodgy power button and overall poor OS support from Lenovo.
I think the Acer Iconia A500 from MLN for $218 shipped is a better buy if you're after a 10.1 inch tablet and don't mind not having digitizer pen support: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/77526
