Free Shipping on All Purchases over $50 at Ryda (Car Audio, Cameras, Radios etc)
This was posted 9 months 12 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Hey everyone.
I got this email from Ryda the yesterday giving me a code for free shipping on all orders over $50;
"We noticed that you left the site before checking out and we just wanted to see if there was anything we could do to help you complete your purchase. If you need any assistance with the checkout process, or if you have any questions about our products or service, please contact us at support@ryda.com.au. We'd be happy to help.
We would like to offer you FREE SHIPPING on your purchase if your order was over $50. Enter RYDAMX at the checkout to take up this offer."
I thought this was worth putting on OzBargain because Ryda generally have pretty good prices (for Australian stock with local warranty) but the shipping is usually the killer (easily $17-20 even for small items).
Some examples like this headunit;

Or this monoblock amplifier

Or even this cheap arse GPS;

They're pretty weak deals but I thought the code would help anyone already looking at buying off their site rather than eBay or overseas.

+1 voteGood point. But they have to at least told their customer what they are going to do before messing around with the cables. If they had told me there is a choice between tapping into the rears or getting a headunit with RCA out, I wouldve chosen the latter.
It's not only that, their cabling was also very messy. It's all tucked underneath the carpet.You can quickly see poor cabling vs pro cabling.
Anyhow I had no clue about installing an amp and that was why I got them to do it. Now I have learnt the hacky way from them and also the proper way using RCA from the head unit.

Pls correct me if I'm wrong, but this same Pioneer car tuner can be purchased at JBHifi for less (normal ticket price)

A while back I purchased this plus an additional handset.
Very happy with it, much better than the panasonics and unidens ive used before

We have the A510A (answering machine with 2 handsets) and have no complaints. much better than the panasonic we had before.
