    How many stocks do they have? Some good deals in the past either couldn't buy or expired in few minutes. Pass.

  • Good deals for the few that actually get them. Otherwise, forums.

    • it's already been moved tot he forums once.

  • +4

    I think 1 stock per item, and gone in a few seconds. 1 deal every 30 mins is totally unnecessary.

    • +2

      hey, the z80 server has got to cool down between deals

  • +2

    Not a bargain sorry.

  • +1

    I gave you a positive vote … only because you are very brave for posting this ….

  • I managed to get a free ipad cover from the last flash sale. But really, theres probably 10 in stock with all of australia crashing their servers.

  • not yet a deal…

  • This is a COMPETITION, not a deal.

    the only difference between this and a LEGITIMATE comp is that legitimate comps have disclosure, rules, etc.

    Should be moved.

  • no bargain here !!

  • Selling a few prices to generate traffic does not make a bargain.

  • Also note that as always, the quantities on the flash sales are strictly limited

    1 of each item i presume :)

    look at previous similar deals and you will see they always end in tears. server crash guaranteed. don't waste your time

  • Pretty much impossible to get any of the deals as it sells out in 5 seconds and the website crashes if history is anything to go by.

  • Sold out flash deal. No real bargains here. Move on

  • Oh good another COTD DDOS event.

  • "a few server crashes" is actually anticipated by the vendor. instead of improving their website performance they choose to mention it in their marketing campaign. is this some kind of COTD site feature? somehow they are proud of it. LOL!!!

  • +2

    AT exactly 11:00:05
    'Geez! What happened here? Looks like our servers are taking way too much traffic!'

  • +1

    iPad sold out in less than 2m. 1 stock?

    • +1

      Yes, 1 stock I would say. Totally waste of time.

    • Not just 1 stock.
      There were 24 iPads, much much more than 1 (as many of you believed)…..

      • how do you know?

        • +2

          When iPad sold out, the names of those members who bought the iPad were displayed in a scrolling marquee.
          Saved that page, examed the source code of that page and found 24 "xxxx has bought the new iPad" messages.
          Hence there were only 24 iPads available for 11000+ people who liked it.
          Make sense?

        • +1

          You believed them?

  • +1

    Bullshit. They just tried to lure people in…

    • +1

      agree agree and agree. this company is a fail

  • Just wondering if there is any ways to UNLIKE CatchOfTheDay in facebook?.

    • hover over the same "Like" button and it'll have unlike there… then next to the like button theres a "Report" button :D

  • Had iPad in cart both on my mobile app & my desktop PC (since both were loading at different times) only to get the server overload message 3 times during the payment screen & then the deal was gone after 1min! Total waste of time constantly checking the website waiting for the iPad deal to appear at random

    Oh yeah, and the website kept logging me out automatically every 2min, fun!

  • 50 shades of grey trilogy is $1 if anyone wants one :)

    • Deal already soldout, naturally!

      And website logged me out again, yay…

  • C = Cannot
    O = Open
    T = Turd
    D = Department

    • +1

      It just sold out at 22:02….. 2 minute after it appeared

    • I just missed it by 5 minutes. Hope they have another sale on a portable hdd soon. :(
