Heads up on Soldsmart at least..
Their “free shipping” is completely bogus!!
I was on their site last thing yesterday and Firefox remembers the last site visited, so when I loaded up this morning, soldsmart was still there at the old page from yesterday afternoon..
here’s a screenshot of yesterday’s page

Notice the $7 jump in price overnight??
A tiny bit convenient don’t you think?
Yes, if the T&C hasn’t changed, PayPal simply refund you the 10%, there was one instance where HT did that on their own which requires a promo code, this is PayPal and as long as it is paid using it I think it’ll be alright.’
I just had to order it as it is the last one available and is already cheapest without the 10% rebate. Ohh, only delivery accepted for PayPal, no pickup.
Well, the link from the PayPal-link site to HT for info comes up with a page doesn’t exist. Quite apart from the PayPal site being a resource hog (not to mention a triumph over design over functionality) this shows how poorly you can implement something that should be straightforward.
I’ve ordered the monitor as a pick-up because of the lack of info.
Not sure how, but I’ve received a “You have authorised a payment to Harris Technology” message from PayPal stating $249 as the price. Wonder if they’ll honour that or try and charge me twice?
(Perhaps it is because I went to get it delivered and paid for by Paypal - then changed my mind…)
- Free shipping @ Shopping Square for orders over $75 - use code “C35747”.
This coupon code is excluding “Computer & IT” and limited to one order per customer.
Where’s the written T&C for this? You just make up as you go?
We did inform PayPal to follow up about the missing T&C. It should be revised.
The shopping square coupon worked for me.
I bought a TV remote (over $75) and 2 SD cards.
Initially, the TV remote got free shipping, but when i added the 2 SD cards, their shipping was not free.
So i cleared my shopping cart. Added all three items and then added in the code again, and i got free shipping for the whole order.
YAY! - awesome stuff - thnx dansor
New T&C is up there since last night, under the current promo section. But sometimes it does not show:
http://www.ht.com.au/affiliate/W02/ptype/latest_promotions/p...
Retailers are definitely knocking up their T&C as they go, even HT’s
Stated on PayPal:
- recived 10%* discount off the normal advertised prices of any item you purchase. *Conditions apply.
2days later on HT:
- Receive 10% off the final “checkout” price on any item purchased, excluding Apple products, Notebooks, Desktop PC’s, clearance and runout items, online only offers and freight charges.
literally excluded all computers. Damn! part of my order was a clearance item!!! oh well… businesses are getting dodgier :(
Ends December 16th for oo.com.au - may need to put expired on some of these.

Thanks dansor for posting this mega deal. Might be good idea to post individual deals + relevant coupon codes.
