      Only difference is the points on a standard 2D movie, as it only costs 800 points normally for students instead of the 1000 points for everyone else.

      Same, do you know if you have to choose a certain type of ticket to get half points though?
      When I open a Vmax session I'm getting 3 types of free ticket options:

      Free Ticket Student STD
      Free Ticket STD
      Free Ticket Vmax - Bonus

      Does anyone know if they subtract different amounts of points?
      Like some are the promotional half points and some are full points?

      I wish they would be more clear about how many points it used.

      You can run more than one cinebuzz account just sign up with another address so that you still get the points. I run 2 cards and on occasions when I need to buy more tickets than that I have my mates card number saved in my phone and wack that number in so she gets the points.

      You know you could probabaly even run two ticket purchase sessions in your browser and buy one in each there by getting the points on both. Yep just tried it through to the seat selection part works :)

        Purchase 2 tickets separately with same Cinebuzz account is counted as one. I tried and checked points before.

      I wasn't able to activate it either, tried about 3 times,then suddenly the offer just appeared in the selection options and allowed me to redeem. Maybe try again later.

    i didn't receive any email regarding this deal (i'm an VIP member). but when I was buying my tickets, it showed i've got 2 free tickets! So I redeemed those 2 tickets in the same session, paid nothing, awesome! :D

    This sucks - no mail, nothing in my spam folder, all tickets are full price when I log in (e.g. 1000 points for 2D), and the last 3 times I've been to Event it hasn't credited my account with the points I should have earned (and yes, I've emailed them, they used to fix problems, but now they just ignore mail - I eventually worked out that their site is seriously buggy and only credits my points if I buy exactly one ticket, but if it buy multiple tickets I get zero points). The whole experience of Cinebuzz now seems like an anti-loyalty program. Not impressed.

      I didn't receive the email either but successfully redeemed the points at the counter, perhaps you could try that too
