What, we have to PAY for whoppers now!? They were free before! :P

      Or no more $2 whopper/fries.

waits eagerly for the next free feed

any idea if you need the original?

    •

I would like to know this as well.

      • +2 votes

you dont even need a copy. All you say is "I want two whoppers on the voucher". Has always worked for me in the past. They dont care about a physical voucher cos they dont need to scan anything.

    • +11 votes

all depends on how much of a dick the manager of each store feels like on the day you visit…

some are fine with photocopies, while others flatout refuse..

      • +4 votes

I agree, I've previously used expired vouchers and photocopied ones. It really depends on the manager on the day. Some don't care but some read every T&C on the voucher….

I once went to a HJ's and the manager was a total bitch, she refused to accept the coupon on my phone, made me pay full price (I couldn't be bothered going elsewhere), THEN gave me a physical copy of the voucher.

  •

hmmm.. valid till Dec 1st… :'( don't have HJ in Pyrmont… have to go to city to have a burger…

    •

There's a HJ 15 minutes walk from Pyrmont. Get off your backside.

Nothing beats the shake n win + fake gps apps.

    •

      Nice

    •

      Shush man! be cool… :D

    •

      go on…….

    • +3 votes

quick neg him so people don't know the secret to free endless food (joke)

    •

what's the point of fake gps app? don't you only have 20 minutes to redeem, so you'd need to be near a HJ anyway?

      • +4 votes

You can switch to all of them until you get a decent deal, then claim it at any HJ's.

        •

          ah yes, good point

        • +1 vote

which fake gps app do you recommend?

      •

The Shake app makes it easier as you can just use the "store locator" to keep alternating between stores if you can't remember any more off the top of your head (doesn't have to be the exact address just within 1km). Might wanna switch back to your current location before you take it to the counter.. mine read: "you are at the Melbourne airport store" checkin? etc when I was at Chapel St.. don't think the Manager noticed.. enjoyed my free whopper :)

    •

is there a fake gps app for iphones? cos i can't seem to find one…i've seen them on the android app store thing but none on the apple app store? help? anynone?

      • +2 votes

Of course not, maybe if you've Jailbroken.

Because reviews don't look so favourable. There are two malware claims in the top 3 reviews.

      •

yep - works a treat. No more free soft serves!

    • +1 vote

yep. awesome.. ended up paying off my new galaxy tab with all the free food :)

  •

Confimed its available in QLD also.

    •

      Thanks

Which is the best deal with the vouchers? i.e which actually saves most money? I rarely eat at HJ, but IIRC, 2 Tendercrisp Chicken burgers for $7.95 doesn't seem like much of a deal.

    • +1 vote

The tendercrisp is a bit pricey even normally (i think around $6-7 for one burger usually). Therefore, the voucher is pretty much equivalent to a buy one get one free. The meal deal for two is probably the best value (two meals for $10).

However, I will definitely be using the 2 tendercrisp voucher. I think it is the tastiest fast food chicken burger (mcd, kfc etc).

No deal for vegie burger :(

    • +1 vote

Are the veggie burgers any good at HJ's anyway?

      • +2 votes

        yers

      •

ask them to put spicy sauce on the veggie burger, tastes really good

    • +3 votes

usually any voucher that says whopper they will also give you a vegi. worth going to the drive through and saying "voucher for 2 vegies for $5.95" 99% of they time they dont argue (or often even demand the voucher)

    • +7 votes

You can swap whoppers for vegie burger!

    •

It says on the whopper voucher that it 'may be substituted for a vegie whopper'.

I'm not a vegetarian but the Vegie Whopper is by far my favourite fast food burger!

the price for MEGA MEAL use to be $9.95 back in 2001 :(

    • +3 votes

A whopper used to be $2.10 back in 1990.

      • +4 votes

well it was $2.00 with fries 6 months ago with the ultimate whopper voucher.. ;) Those were the days

        • +4 votes

A whopper was for free last month. Ahh those were the days

        •

So was subway ;). Now for KFC to jump on the bandwagon.

        •

the more the merrier.. we are always looking for free stuff

    •

I was in the USA in 2000, they (Burger King but same thing) had $1 Whoppers. I was young and travelling, 2 of these for lunch was the cheapest gig ever.

  • +3 votes

I've just been to my local hungry Jacks and they said they'll accept any vouchers as long as it hasn't got a code on it. These vouchers don't have any sort of code so they will accept any form whether it be a photocopy print version or whatever

Thank you! Have sent it to the resident Hungry Jacks' fan at work. His definition of a balanced meal is a Whopper in both hands.

    •

Ha! My first laugh out loud for the day. Many thanks.

  •

What paper was this printed on? Matt or glossy? Like normal paper or brochures or thicker? And what's on the reverse?

    Just wondering…

    Thanks

    •

printed on glossy paper, can't remember what was on the back, we got a bunch load that i get the crew to hand out.
as for redeeming the voucher i don't normally care unless the customer is being a prick in which i tell then that then NEED the voucher on them and then just tell them we have ran out if they ask for them.

  • +2 votes

Some of these deals were also posted via their facebook and sent via email over the past month or so. Not the meal deals however. $10 for 2 meals is pretty sweet, you pay nearly that for 1 meal at maccas.

    Bring on my heart attack!

  •

why dont they ever have a 2 burger one drink deal, i dont want 2 drinks

    •

      Sell 1 back to them

has anyone got rejected with the photocopied vouchers?

im particularly interested in the Cabramatta, Green Valley and Warrick farm stores

    •

The staff usually don't care at the few i've been to with previous vouchers.

    •

I got rejected with the photocopied vouchers from Wollongong.

  •

Yay I can fatter with Hungary Jacks!

  •

Please post high resolution image for this coupons

  •

I just used the voucher. The assistant store manager served me, and cut out the voucher I used. Looks like I need to CTRL+P the image again…
