+1 votegets a plus from me. with dogs myself and rescued many escaped roaming dogs in the past, any way of identifying pets is an awesome thing.
but i agree with previous posts, a place for a name/number engraved on the tag as well would make it one huge step in the right direction.
i also find pushing the "non intrusive" tag a bit… crap? there is nothing better than the implanted RFID tags you get from the vets. collars and QR tags like yours are easily lost or removed. injected RFID tags however are not and quite simply the best way to ensure your pet comes home if it gets lost. trying to take away from that i think is a negative tone towards your product… sorta in the same way as sledging an opposition/competitions product.

There's a significant delay if they have to take it to the vet etc. name and phone number would be great with QR code being useful for address etc so they could just bring them home if they're tech savvy. If they aren't they can just call the number.
Basically there's too much real estate taken up by the bloody branding.

Ditto. Especially when microchipping is often compulsory anyway. It's harmless, and for the slight discomfort experienced by the pet, well worthwhile, considering how easily a collar can be left off or whatever.
Sure, it's a supposedly discounted price of $5 as opposed to the cost of microchipping, but I'd personally prefer to put the $5 toward a tag engraved with my dog's name and phone number so that I can be contacted immediately should they be found somewhere, rather than wait for someone to come along who has the 'right' type of scanner.
