FREE Box.com 25GB Cloud Storage
This was posted 6 months 16 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
The default storage offering is still 5G on the website.
Looks like the 25 GB is permanent. However, it is limited to the 100 MB file size.
Here's a link to the Android app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.box.androi...

Good backup for dropbox- along with skydrive and this I have close to 100GB :)
-6 votesI have 50GB too, it was from the deal for installing android app. But the "limited to the 100 MB file size" makes it useless.
No desktop app.So if you want to share say 50 photos with someone, you have to use the web interface 50 times and sit in front ofthe PC all that time. Cuz a zip is over 100MB. And there's no sync app.
+2 votesYou can of course make your zip files 99mb, or upload folders. Zipping jpg photos does not reduce the size hardly at all, so you still have to upload the same amount anyway. You can drag and drop multiple files - but I can see how it would be too hard for some to use :)

More cloud storage, of course.
Thanks voldemort

4G still hasn't really taken off in Australia and won't for another 12-24 months.
ProspectiveDarkness on 04/11/2012 - 22:01 ¶Very true :-(
As much as I dislike the iPhone, hopefully its uptake of LTE should prompt an increased demand for it, and the telco's will hasten with their supply.
Though I'm on HSPA+ and it's far from unusable.
ProspectiveDarkness on 04/11/2012 - 22:04 ¶I'm quite a fan of Dropbox too, it'll take a lot to drag me off it as my primary cloud service. Though I do like Google Drive's integration with Android devices, despite the limited capacity.
windsurfer-sp on 04/11/2012 - 22:53 ¶I use Google Drive 80gb (~$40/yr) and dropbox ~5gb. Both backup my essential folders and Google Drive does my photos. Peace of mind is so worth it.
How easy would it be to upload 25gb of stuff to box? Won't bother if it will take more then a few clicks.
windsurfer-sp on 05/11/2012 - 06:11 ¶Same thing in terms of storage, very integrated service really.
+1 voteI got the 50GB bonus with the Touchpad and find it quite handy for doc/excel storage and transfer when linked with QuickOffice. I also bought a pogoplug in the US for $25 when I was over there so currently have 4TB accessible in my cloud. And it is a nice bright pink colour too!

Is this for new customers only? I'm stuck on 5GB and trying to upgrade, but the link above only takes me to a sign-up page (http://www.box.com/signup/o/fetchnotes_25)…?

I've used all these and I find Cubby to be the best. It even syncs over ethernet/Wi-Fi if your devices are on the same network. That also means that you can use it as a sync service for private stuff you don't want in the cloud. They also have 5GB cloud storage as well.
It's currently invite only, so if you want to give it a whirl let me know.
Disclaimer: I get an extra 1GB storage for inviting people, but I really don't care about that (I've already got 10GB I'm not using). If I did want more I could just create my own accounts and invite them.
EDIT: I just checked the site to get a link for you all, and apparently it's finally open to all now.
Forget the stuff about requesting an invite from me and just go get it. It's good stuff.
ronorboris on 05/11/2012 - 12:15 ¶Anyone know how people actually get the 25GB? I downloaded the app, registered through the app, then confirmed e-mail. Still have 5GB.
Do you do something special?
ProspectiveDarkness on 05/11/2012 - 13:03 ¶I just clicked on the above link, registered through the site, and it worked fine.
Signup to receive 25GB + Sync
ronorboris on 05/11/2012 - 13:56 ¶Ah, woops. So the process is to sign up through the site, not the app in the OP's link.
DarkRyoushii on 05/11/2012 - 14:51 ¶Dropbox - 72.85GB
Box - 50GB
Skydrive - 25GB
Google Drive - 5GBand the only one I use is dropbox for it's compatibility with most popular android apps :\
