Is this the right product?
Because Silk Epil 5 on the official Broun site looks different:
http://www.braun.com/anz/female-grooming/silk-epil-epilators...
If you click on
http://www.braun.com/anz/female-grooming/silk-epil-epilators...on that page it compares the 5780 (which looks the same as the 5180) and the 5380 (which is pink).
No mention of the 5180 and now i am nervous cos i already clicked confirm on my paypal.

+1 voteilikedeals on 30/11/2012 - 01:42 ¶i bought 5 of these
selected 'store pickup'total: $57 X5 = $285
Cashback: $75 X 5 = $375
$90 as xmas gift?
Thanks OP & Braun :)
ilikedeals on 30/11/2012 - 01:48 ¶also forgot to mention - I used AMEX and get points (I have a card that gives me 3 points per dollar)
$285 = 855 points, which converts to $4 when you claim cashback on CBA awards points hahaha
ilikedeals on 04/12/2012 - 18:54 ¶It's the Platinum one. Yearly fee is $250 but I got the fee waived last month as CommBank promised me that the fee would be charge in March 2013 but they charged me in November 2012 instead (a few weeks after I got the card).
Called them up and complained of being poor, it worked
ilikedeals on 30/11/2012 - 01:58 ¶should be fine as long as they are all in separate purchases?
i guess the promoter set this condition so that it is easier for them to work through the cashbacks
+12 votescitybargainhunter on 30/11/2012 - 08:00 ¶I also looked down and thought the same but just not at my legs
+1 votewillxiao0790 on 30/11/2012 - 03:05 ¶How abt we buy five but ask them to issue separate invoice for each item? (IN THE SAME STORE)
Or how abt if we purchase online, every time we just select one and pay one? And then do the same process for the remainder 4. In this case, HN will issue us 5 separate invoices?
+14 votesPhoenixsun6 on 30/11/2012 - 04:35 ¶Is it really so hard to add and extra 2 letters to 'abt' seriously.. abOUt

-1 votePhoenixsun6 on 30/11/2012 - 04:50 ¶So i guess there is no returning them to harvey normans until after you get cashback? (on account of braun wanting the receipt number to check if the item has been returned or not)
EDIT: yes I intend to keep 2 of the 3 i bought

+2 votesWell it's chques so unless you have alternative names you can only redeem 5 x name? But does that mean other people in the house can also redeem it?
What if you use your work address?
The possibilities are endless!
You could have enough shavers to give free out on the street to every hairy chick on the street or hot chick and make heaps of friends! :D

Actually you have to wait up to 4 months to get your cash back if you just bought it today and the offer is valid for this shaver.
Promotion only applies to the following products (“Participating Products”), which must be
purchased on or between 20th September 2012 to 31st January 2013 (“Purchase Period”):cash back will be provided via cheque within 60 working days of receiving claim.
other question is is it for female or male?
Promotion clearly stated cash back offer for Male Shavers, Series 5 Epilators only and i can see anywhere on HN website saying $75 cash back offer.
i will just wait and see. plenty time ( still have 2 months to purchase if the $75 offer is valid for this product)). no rush
Thanks for sharing OP. have a nice day

Buying this with the intention of getting a refund, before even trying it, does not sound legit. I'd be weary they don't catch on to this. Especially those of us who bought 5. -_o

No the deal is legit. If you click on the first link posted by the op, it IS actually a regular cash-back offer.
The second part of his/her post mentioning the satisfaction-guaranteed thing is different (not really sure it belongs in the bargain post)
