Nice one OP, never used a stylus on an iPad but willing to give it a go at this price.

I hate to say this but this seems like the standard price. Have a look at eBay and you'll see thousands of almost identical products for $1 as well.

This one has a 12 month warranty though ;)

People dont realise that this stylus is absolutely useless and does not do what most people actually think it does. It has a rubber cap and you wont be able to write on the screen. It is nothing more than a solution for possibly fat finger syndrome where you can click smaller things on the screen using the width of the rubber cap.

Dont think of it as like a Samsung S-Pen for their tablets, people. Waste of your time and money (even at $1)

Actually these do increase accuracy by a noticeable amount, I use a 4.3" phone to fill out digital service forms at work, easy with a stylus, slow with the finger.
Now the quality of the stylus can make a difference though.

Not sure why you are stating that these are useless?

I use a similar rubber-tipped stylus on my iDevices, and it is a LOT easier and more accurate than using a finger.

The WHOLE idea of the rubber tip is so that it doesn't scratch the screen. Do you REALLY want to be using a metal stylus on your touchscreen, because I sure don't.

They seemed to have increased the price by the shipping amount for this "free shipping" sale

    For cameras anyway

Thanks OP. Got one. Good for ticking of items in a check list, for quick sketches and faster note taking.

This store resides in my Hide from Listing that if it wasn't for "OzBargain Newsletter" I would have missed it — but this is a top deal, so to get my $1 pen at discount.

pen back in stock now. Was out of stock when I tried few times yesterday

Received it today (Sydney) and I gotta say.. it's not that great. Don't give me that spiel about 'what do ya expect for $1?' I expect it to be worth more than $1 otherwise it's not really a bargain. You're just paying $1 for a $1 product.

My main grudge is that it's hard to predict where the touch is going to be since the round bit is so big and soft.

It's happened. Just over a week and the POS has broken.

Now let's see whether the warranty is worth a damn.

      •

A week later and they still haven't replied.

I'm glad this mistake only cost me $1.

  •
